Thanks for commenting Charley. This is the issue. As blues fans, if we feel the passion and the desire and they pour blood, sweat and tears onto the pitch and for the badge then we can live with that and sometimes you just get beat by the better team. That's football. What we can and will not tolerate is players strolling around the pitch not looking like they even care or want to play for the club. It's so frustrating. I can't wait for the summer clear out this season. A lot of dead wood needs to go this summer for us to move forward. Thanks again and KRO!

Agreed, I'm also half-glass full when it comes to the blues but I just can't see how we turn this around. At this stage of the season. results speak for themselves, we've only managed to pick up points in two of the last 10 games. We now need to pick up points in all four of our remaining games and I just can't see that change in form happening. We've not done anything this season to suggest we are capable of performing at the level we need to perform at to stay up. Sad times indeed, with so much positivity off the field and having our expectations raised, going down will be a massive disappointment and shame.

Thanks Tony, always appreciate the comments. Totally agree. We never know which team is going to turn up. Even when we do turn up with a bit of fight like the Preston game we still had to rely on a mistake with that slip to actually score a goal, we just have absolutely no quality in the attacking third and aren't capable of scoring goals. Stansfield can't do it all on his own. I can take a solid performance and you just lose to the better team on the day. This happens a lot in football. What I can't take is paying for a season ticket every year and having players walk around the pitch like it's a Sunday stroll in the park with no intensity and no goal scoring intentions. Thanks again and KRO!

The players didn't even really look interested to be honest. Really dissapointing to be in the bottom 3 and still get the lack of passion and fight. I hope you enjoyed the open house. Lots of positivity and energy. A really bright and exciting future for this club. Despite the on field drama and lack of quality. Knighthead are doing some amazing things off the pitch. Thanks for commenting! Always appreciated. 100% agree. When they do the recruitment during the summer, regardless of what division we are in, we need some warriors, some fighters who are willing to give everything on the pitch for the club and the badge. I do wish and hope that Mowbray and his family are doing well after his personal health scare but I don't think he is a stranger to league 1? If I remember correctly he got Blackburn promoted from there. I might have that wrong or muffled but I do feel that was the case. Thanks again and KRO!

Good channel lads. Supported Blues for 50 years so I'm used to lows but this team seems to have so little fight. We've stayed up before with players who may not be technical but who fought and battled to the end. I prepared myself to relegation about 5 games ago as just cannot see where the goals are going to come from. Praying for a miracle but so looking forward to next season, whichever division, cause it will be a virtually new squad and the real start of the knighthood era. KRO!

Thanks Stephen! Yeah, there is 100% no doubt that 5 (6 if you include spooner's 1 game) managers over the course of this season will have had a huge impact. That's changing strategies, tactics, philosophies and staff etc. No doubt as a player this would be hard to adapt too however this is still on them. They are professional footballers getting paid the salary, they are the ones representing the badge and club and when they can't even be arsed to turn up and give there all it's so frustrating and as you rightly say, it's the least hard working and paying fans deserve. All the buzz around blues at the min and they give out that performance. You’d think the players would be thinking that the club is on the up I want to be apart of it so I’m gonna give my all and earn a new contract. I know Bacuna splits opinion but he wouldn’t start for me. The body language on the lad is so frustrating! Ng had him all game and if Bacuna isn’t having many touches he goes missing just like he did last game. Id go Dembele and Anderson in for miyoshi and Bacuna for Saturdays gane be a bit more direct. Miyoshi and Bacuna love to come in side on their stronger foot too much which slows down the attack. Another change is Laird, the amount of space in behind grant and he didn’t try taking him on until like the 70th min. Instead foot on the ball and then same old horseshoe across the back four. Maybe sunjic beilk as our CDMs and Paik in the 10. I just don’t know 🫣running out of games and running out of hope.

Thanks for commenting with some really interesting insights! I totally agree and for the players who are coming to an end of their contract you would think they would be trying to play their best for there next club or whoever may be watching. Who are going to want to touch this lot in the transfer window? Not many from what we've seen this season... Bacuna certainly mixes opinion. I totally get the body language issues (They all looked not arsed last night) and he always balances out his good work by doing something silly and giving it away. He is however a good player moving forward but last night was not his game. I was thinking about putting Bielek back at CB as it means we can not play Aiwu or Sanderson and then put Dozzell back in the CM as he does try and make us as front footed as possible. I would also like to see Dixon and Donovan on the bench. Some youth and energy during the second half is exactly what we need sometimes. I am like you though, I just don't know the solution at this point. Thanks again and KRO!

I can't really add much to what you have both said guys and I think your comments are very fair. Myoshi was unlucky with his effort that hit the post and that was actually a well worked move, but overall it was very disappointing, particularly after Cardiff scored. We needed urgency and directness after that, but it never came. Most of the players that Gary has used since he came in have let him and us down so perhaps it's time to shuffle the pack a bit. We should be fighting for our lives, but we're not. I hope the Robbo is involved in the half time team talks as we need players to fear the hair dryer treatment if they are not performing. Even if we do stay up I don't think some of our recent performances should be forgotten and so the squad needs to be rebuilt. I can't help feeling that this has been coming for a long while and it was only the craft, guile and understanding of our limitations that John Eustace had that kept us up last season. KRO everyone and let's stick together.

I’ve just responded to a similar comment and it is fair to say that something needs to change however, with this bunch of players there are not too many options to do anything different. We suggested bringing in a few of the youngster to inject some energy in to the team however I suspect that won’t happen. I can’t wait for this season to be over and then see how the squad will be re-built in the summer. I just hope we are still in the championship. KRO

Shocking Performance last night ... No leaders on the pitch , No passion , No fight and more importantly NO CLUE.. For Me the Worst Moment last night was Pritchard .. He got moved too the wing and He literally Stropped like a 3 Year old and His Body language was a dsigrace .. But We have No clue once We get to the last 3rd ( Hot Potatoe time ) Now We need too Gamble and try some of the Kids Example Dixon .. Put Him up top With Stansfield and give him someone to play off .. May aswell As the Usual Suspects are not doing it ... Also the Players have lost the Fans , When the Fulltime Whistle Blew and the Players approached the Tilton ( clapping ) The players were Righlty Abused ( Except Stansfield who got Respect )

Thanks for commenting as always mate, really appreciate it. No leaders and no passion is 100% the issue and it has been all season on the pitch. This is the difference to me from the previous years. As blues fans and as a club we have been here many times before now over the past 12 years especially and we might not have had the most talented squads but we had players who could scrap and fight and battle. That's all we're asking for. Non-existent in this team. At the moment not a single player in our starting 11 looks interested or even up for the battle and challenge. If we play like this against Coventry and Norwich it could be embarrassing. I hope they manage to find that battling spirit from the games before this otherwise we will be in serious trouble playing like this in our final 4 games. Very best and KRO!

Thanks for commenting Emily :) Yeah, Bacuna had a very poor game last night but I would say most of them did. I do agree that Miyoshi was trying to make things happen at times and he was unlucky with that shot against the post. I do like Bielek but if he gets the ball past the centre circle when we are on the attack he looks completely lost and his default is too pass it back. I personally think stick him back at CB put Dozzell back in and least we might be a bit more front footed. I am out of ideas at this point in all honesty. Maybe also giving some U21's a run? Dixon? Donovan? Can't be any worse than our current starting 11 with zero passion. Thanks again and KRO!

I was very upbeat at the beginning of the season - good owners - finally - a good if not exciting manager who was getting us reasonable results then somebody decided that the best way forward was to have another crack at the Zola gambit as it had worked so well the first time. Thought when we got Mowbray we were on the way to safety but then fate as usual stepped in - I thought they had de-cursed the ground. The team needs to turn up on Saturday. The fans deserve so much more than what we saw on Tuesday. We started off well, but then there was just nothing. There is so much that needs to change for Saturday, but what's worrying and concerning is I don't see the leaders and characters that we need to get us out of the trouble that we find ourselves in. Donovan has to start for me. It's been really disappointing that he's not been in the squad for some time. When he did play, he played with pride, passion, purpose, and quality. We also need to play 4-4-2 and with who's fit and available that has to be Roberts playing up top with Stansfield. The fans will turn up on Saturday, but the team needs to give us so much more than the Cardiff game. I really hope the players do their bit, put a real shift in, and play for the fans. After last night I feel I've lost hope that we will survive this year. We've rode our luck over the years and managed to stay up but I feel this is the year we go down. There's just no passion or fight, it shows how bad it is when one of the only players who looks like they actually care and gives 100% is Stansfield who's a loan player. It seems very clear there's no leaders in the team which shows at the moment. Sanderson is your captain and when Cardiff score instead of rallying the team he just falls over and lays on the floor. I feel if we do go down we will struggle to get back up as League 1 will be tough so I'm hoping somewhere these players get the points we need for safety. KRO!

Last night was a disgrace, no fight, no passion and no idea, which is such a shame with so much positivity around the club ATM. I cannot see how and where the next points are coming from which leaves the trap door wide open for us..... The other thing is not all these managers are poor but they've all struggled to get consistency out if this group of players... As always K.R.O

Thanks for commenting. Always appreciated :) I can't see where our next goal is coming from let alone a win after last nights performance. Bottom 3, at home and we have 1 shot on target. That is unacceptable and truly shocking. We need to be MUCH better for these remaining 4 games if we stand half a chance of staying up. We go again on Saturday and we will be there supporting the boys. Let's hope they can reciprocate and actually give us something to get behind and show us some fight. Very best and KRO!

Thanks for commenting Ian. I agree and I do think we might see Dixon and or Donovan on the bench for the next game. He has to change something from that gutless performance and getting some fresh younger energy is pretty much the only tool at our disposal during this difficult end to the season. We have no squad depth whatsoever and the subs last night proved it. When I heard Gardner and Hogan come on I just had my head in my hands. No disrespect towards them but just thought to myself that's all we have as far as the squad goes to change a game. It's crazy this is where we are. Thanks, mate and KRO!

Thanks for commenting Dean! Always appreciated :) I remember we discussed a 4-4-2 about 6 weeks ago on the podcast and the majority of blues fans were behind and supportive of this too. I guess my only concern is who would partner Stansfield? With Jukey injured, we are talking T.Roberts, Hogan or Burke. I mean they don't inspire much confidence. Maybe one of our attacking midfielders could be put up there and sort of play the false 9? I am borderline out of ideas at this point as the players show no passion or desire to score. With all the talk off the pitch too it's such a shame those 2 areas can't align because in many ways it's a really exciting time to be a blues fan. Turning up and seeing the players not giving everything has to stop if we want to stay in this league. It’s been said numerous times by most supporters - most of these players are severely lacking in effort and tenacity. They don’t fit the Blues dna of graft and passion. I know FFP restrictions played a part, but Gardners recruitment has been poor. I’d like to see a new technical director tbh.

We will still be at our current stadium probably at least for five years so even if we do get relegated we will still be at our current ground.
