R.I.P Una. I had the chance to say a few words to her about 5 years ago. I was in the queue with her at a bus stop opposite Kings Cross Station. She was very down to earth.

I've been a very big fan of Una since her Aunt Sally days in Worzel Gummidge, Una will be sorely sorely missed. R.I.P. Una Stubbs, god bless you.

Una Stubbs who had being appeared in the Ladybird Videos of "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs and The Snow Queen" and "Rapunzel and Beauty and the Beast", she celebrated her 69th Birthday on May Day Bank Holiday Monday on Monday 1st May in 2006 since she lived in England in the UK and now she died and passed away in Scotland in the UK in 2021 and it's life, the history and the memory forever, so RIP Una Stubbs (1937-2021).

I had the very real privilege of working with Una Stubbs for one day in Winchester. I was totally star-struck! She was fabulous company. I've never forgotten that day and never will. RIP Wonderful Lady.

Hiya from England Another part of my childhood gone with Una passing away. I have very fond memories of watching her in Worzel Gummidge with Jon Pertwee back in 1979. Back when kids TV shows were at their best - when you had all the separate TV channels like Thames TV, Anglia TV an Southern TV and they were all at the 'top of their game' I also used to watch her in Till Death Us Do Part but only in the last couple of years when i was old enough. This ran from 1965 to 1975. I am so glad i lived through the 70's and 80's when TV was so good

I mainly remember her in 'Till Death Us Do Part' ironic title now. Loved her as Rita the daughter with Warren Mitchel as her Dad Alf Garnett. Good in Summer Holiday too. Got to know other things she was in from comments on here that I didn't know about. It doesn't say what she died of in the news item. Does anyone know?

Hiya from England One news report said she died of an AGE related illness so by that it may have been Dementia but i suppose in the next few weeks more information may be released to the press

@@joanne26 Thank you. A further bulletin on KZread I saw in the right-hand column said she had been ill for a few months before she died. May have been that. A lot of people seem to get that, not just celebs, but dementia etc's not fussy who it hits.

@@Mum60 And I might add Una is another part of my happy teenage years gone from us Used to watch the later series of Till Death Us Do Part and also Una in Worzel Gummidge But with KZread you can go back to these times and watch it all again I have for the last 2 weeks been watching lots of Play For Today and Armchair Theatre I do remember watching some of these back in the 70’s but there were many made

@@joanne26 Are Play For Today, and Armchair Theatre titles to look up on KZread to find the old programmes? I remember Armchair Theatre. Different plays put on. I had a young family when Worzel Gummidge was on, but I never saw it, but knew what the character looked like. My three didn't watch it either for some reason. I used to watch Sherlock with Benedict Cummerbach and would have recognised her in that, but can't remember the character, the house maid apparently. Apart from her Guest appearances in dramas, I mainly remember her in Till Death Us Do Part, and Cliff's film Summer Holiday.

@@Mum60 I forgot to add that Una was a Team Captain and Lionel Blair was the other Team Captain in the TV show Give Us A Clue the first time round from 1979-1983 presented by Michael Aspel OMG where have those 40+ years gone ❤️❤️☀️☀️🥲🥲👌🏻
