I met her about 4 years ago and noted she had aged but she was very pleasant and quietly spoken. I liked her as Aunt Sally the.most .

Rest in peace Una, Many happy memories of you as Aunt Sally back in the day.

I first became aware of Una in that wonderful musical Summer Holiday. I was courting my wife when it was first shown at the cinema when we both lived in Blackpool. I wasn't a fan of Cliff Richards but I reluctantly went with her. I thoroughly enjoyed the film with lots of great dance sequences in which Una appeared at her best. I was shocked to here of her passing. A lady with such a bubbly personality on screen and will be sadly missed by her legions of fans

A great actress who will be missed, I didn't know she had such great range. I'll always remember her as Miss Sally, opposite the equally excellent Jon Pertwee in Worzel Gummaidge. When the BBC had the decency to put such programmes on.

Sherlock Holmes stands at his window at 221B Baker St… His hands behind his back, holding on tightly to his bow and violin. His expression unreadable as he watches the cars pass by his home without a care in the world. All of them completely unaware that a light has left this Earth, and that it is so much darker now that it has. There will be no more light footsteps meandering up his flat’s staircase now. I have watched her over many years in those wonderful roles she played and i feel very sad at her parting. Such a talented and attractive performer. RIP.

I'm 65 in December and I Remember Una Stubbs and she was a fine actress who could do both Comedy and drama and not Many actors or actress can do that and now she is at Peace God Bless you Una you are in safe hands and you were a Born Lady

I can remember her back in the 1960s and right up to the last few years. I don’t know anybody who didn’t like or love her. She lit up everything she was in with her talent, kindness and sweetness. RIP.

What a truly marvellous tribute to a much loved special lady + actress -thank you. Can we also just appreciate what a striking beauty she was with a dancers figure too ! I swear she hardly changed in all her years - what is it about dancers and their preservation? RIP dear una , and thank you ❤️

Why thank you. Doing this one and Linda Baron was hard for me as I viewed them as Aunties I never met but wanted to be with. Ironically met them both, n separate occassions, here in Blackpool a few years back.

I've loved her ever since "Some Mothers Do Ave Em" and my all-time favourite as Aunt Sally in "Worzel Gummage". So So sad, Rest in Splendour Una, we shall miss you forever. Condolences to her family and all her friends and fans around the world.

Hello from the West Midlands Wonderful Una now sadly no longer with us. She was part of my teenage years watching her play Aunt Sally in the TV series Worzel Gummidge with Jon Pertwee. It was aired in 1979 OMG where have those years gone. I also remember Una in Till Death Us Do Part but only the later ones. She was part of the cast of the film Summer Holiday from 1963 when it airs on mainstream TV. Great films and TV shows back then

I know the TV and film world has to move on every so often but for me not for the better 😙😙🇬🇧🇬🇧😀😀🤨🤨

Una was always there, from her warm turns in Cliffs movies (where we never understood why Cliff was dallying with some American bird we’d never heard of when gorgeous Uma was right there!) through variety shows and sitcoms, through Alf and Worzel and Sherlock. From giving us a clue to helping us paint. She was unmotivated jou. Quintessentially English but always outward looking and expansive. She was amazing and will be much missed. If you want to see how good her acting was, watch her play a dying woman in Call The Midwife. RIP Una, I don’t think you know how fond we all were of you

Damn I only found out today that Una had passed away. In the very early 60's those of us who loved to dance (and I'm not talking ballroom) used to go to the Whisky in Wardour Street. Una was a regular and obviously loved the continental jive as well as Latin and when it came in The Twist ( before any of the other clubs claimed to be the first). I've watch Una over the year develop into a great little actress, always embracing her characters. RIP lovely lady..Sherlock will not be the same without you.
