UN Security Council passes Gaza ceasefire resolution | LBC
“The Palestinian people have 100 years of struggle and we will continue.”
Palestinian Ambassador Dr Husam Zomlot joins Tom Swarbrick as the UN Security Council passes a resolution demanding an ‘immediate’ ceasefire in Gaza.
The motion passed despite the United States abstaining. It called for a ceasefire for the duration of Ramadan - which we are already in the middle of.
This is the first time a demand for a Gaza ceasefire has been successful in the UN.

He is not biased, but pointing out the fact, international law is not binding because countries can choose not to obey. Ceasefire is tied to the release of hostages. Anything less than this will not work. They want Ceasefire without hostage released. Why is he removing hamas from the equation because they struck first, then this calamity happened. He cannot remove hamas from the equation. The world knows that the Palestinians elected hamas. Today it is Natenyahu, next it will be another PM and the agenda will not be different because the allegiance is first to Isreal. So let us not keeping fooling ourselves.

There is no 'illegal' occupation. There is disputed territory. Remember that Egypt ceded Gaza to Israel through their peace treaty (and Israel returned the Sinai peninsula to Egypt). And Jordan ceded the west bank to Israel as part of their peace treaty. So Israel is fully entitled to be where they are now.
Tom, you should read the comments and how unpopular you have become after conducting this interview.

He knows the history, that's why he is asking those questions. But notice how often the so-called Ambassador tries to avoid answering them, complains that they are the wrong 'narrative' or simply gives irrelevant answers.

Tom this is poor, how were you not understanding his point. It is for the Palestinian people to decide who represents them. Take away hamas, you will have another ideology take its place whilst the Palestinian people are denied their rights and self determination!
