Lift your forks up slightly when riding around. Eliminates a lot of excess noise, plus they will grab when going up and down ramps.

Fuck OSHA, they're not the ones pulling orders. In certain scenarios it's a must to ride with forks up at least an inch off the ground like when going into a pallet. The forks on these single pallet jacks totally touch the ground and will break the pallet or ram it back if it's too light, causing you to spill the product on it.

Great video! I start out on these things (we call them electric pallet jacks in Aus) next week and your video helped get an idea of how to use them, they look so fun to ride.

The pallet jack you was talking about is called a rider not a walkie. The walkie is actually you are either towing or lifting an item off the floor. As a person is walking with the pallet jack.

Sit down is just like driving a car, except you steer from the back instead of front. Stand up is different in terms of steering. One joystick does the lifting, the other steers the lift. It takes a lot of time to master.
