Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

A huge thank you to everyone who has been following along the past year! It has been so much fun putting this apartment together, and it's bittersweet to start the process of returning it to how it was. Not to worry, though! We have some AWESOME stuff in store and I can't wait to share it, so stay tuned! :)

Consider keeping the paint and built-ins. I've NEVER had to unmaker an apt. I allow landlords to do tours while I'm living there, I just go get coffee. Renters fall in love with the upgrades and I get my deposit back because they don't have to change anything. Let new renters fall in love with your work, they'll appreciate the head start! The apt I'm in now came with a diy cement wall. This saved the building money and allowed the guy here before me to het his money back. Free cement wall for me. Win win. He was so happy I wanted to keep it

Congrats on the move! Don't feel like you need to explain yourself into terms of content changing or adapting to your new circumstances. Frankly, I own a home and would prefer to see less "temporary" design ideas.

I taped a piece of paper to each bin and wrote on it as I packed. Then put it into a word document. I do this for every move. When you're looking for random stuff like scissors or something specific it's magical.

I make a big bullet-point list on the side of every cardboard box! There's the biggest label of what room the box goes in (i.e. "KITCHEN," "BATHROOM," etc.), but then one side of the box is reserved for just the most important stuff in there. These items particularly include the stuff I probably won't unpack first (and will therefore be wondering about/desperately needing later) such as kitchen scales, extra shampoo, a particular photo album, niche craft supplies, etc.

There are some great ideas here! Thank you. I wish you the best with the transition. I’m also a sentimental person about spaces and I feel you with the difficulty of transition. I’d love some videos about how you are coping with this. Best wishes to you! ✨✨✨

I wish I had this organization type before I moved. Such a smart decision to use plastic bins than boxes!

Congratulations!! That bin idea is pretty damn great and I wish I'd done that when I moved into my home! Though I procrastinated and packed in much more of a panic than you seem to be so there was barely any organization when I did it haha. And I completely understand the sadness of leaving your apartment somehow mixed with the excitement of moving into your own house. Bittersweet describes it perfectly.

The move will be so worth it !! If there's demand for the emotional side/debrief (which I think yes), surely do a concurrent vlog channel that accompanies your main just so you can vent hahaha (alternatively just sprinkle it through your main). Thanks for some great inspo for my sharehouse xoxo.

I’m so excited for you!! And at 23, you’re very lucky to be in a position to purchase a home. Maybe it’s just where I’m from, but it’s very rare here for someone your age to be able to do that without parental help. I’m presuming that the offer has been accepted and the financing is all in place, so it’s pretty much just a matter of time now. I do understand your desire to keep some designs renter friendly, and thus workable for a large percentage of your audience, but I’m also hoping that you will share some more permanent designs for those of us who are homeowners (we paid off our mortgage this year! YAY!! And they can carry me out in a body bag - I’m so done with moving!!). Of course we want to hear about the whole process!! It wouldn’t be you if you didn’t share it. 😹😹 I mean that in the nicest possible way!! Many in your audience won’t have gone through the experience. For others, like me, I’m always interested to see the differences in the way things are done in different places. And, I know that we all want to share in your excitement!!

Congrats on the move! Also, quick tip, your microphone positioning is off - The sound is actually picked off of the sides like a crown, it should be directly facing the microphone pop. If you stand it straight up or even have it tilted have of the way that you do now, it will improve the audio. (it’s a common misconception that the mic should be talked into directly at the point/top)
