I was taught how to make yoghurt in an airing cupboard in the 80's by my first hubby's Iranian friend. We taught him how to make diabetic beer in the airing cupboard.😊

Coop and i had a cracking weekend despite the rain and mud, good to meet you, John, Alex and others! We left early Sunday as we didnt have a towing eye, so needed to drive out! I use a cheese cloth because you can squeeze some of the whey out. I then transfer it to glass jars. The longer in the cheese cloth the drier/thicker it becomes.

I just listen to people and look online, Warner shows have a good selection and I think there may be one up your way. A quick google of Vanlife events in your area should do the trick too ❤️

Hopefully I’ll see you both at Campout. Homemade Greek yogurt is definitely the way to go. Keep straining it well past the Greek yogurt texture and you’ll have labneh soft cheese. Yummy.

Have a lovely time at Campout and on holiday. One question, when you are on the road where do you empty your composting toilets? I've used them for 18 years in France but the contents are emptied on my 3 compost heaps and left to break down for minimum a year. Take care. Love Jo in France 🇫🇷

We use dog poop bins or huge bins that require little to no direct touching and pour pee wherever we can that is out of the way

Ooo, must try making greek yoghurt in my Instant pot. I love mine, gets used heaps. I like how I can cook the entire meal in one pan. My favs are Spag Bol and Chicken & bacon pasta - I put grated carrot in recipes instead of Onion as we don't like it - gives a lovely thick creamy sauce - great for sneaking veg in for toddlers, teens or John! Also love how quick I can cook chicken breasts and beef in really rich sauce/gravy. Since I got the Instant Pot and my Air Fryer in the Black Friday sales last year (thank you Gadget John for the tip on those!) I haven't used the oven! Must experiment more... Will you add some Instant Pot recipes to your cookbook/UMR videos too? (when you get time & energy to do more recipes). How's the Decaff going?

Ah pasta dishes will be back soon. We bought a lot of freezer stuff for when we might need quick easy to make food but I like the sneaking of veggies 😂 have you ever tried “crack chicken”? Rather unfortunate name from America and it’s frozen chicken, brown rice and stock with lots of dill, garlic and onion powder (which you could leave out) then when cooked you shred the chicken, add Greek yogurt and bacon and combine with salt and pepper, I put sweetcorn in and have a side salad but it’s amazing!!!! So tasty and you can’t stop eating it so the name fits 😂 I think I will put some instant pot recipes on both, one of the best things about having them here are the additions and extra ideas people give - like you just have, I’ll then feature a subscriber hint in the book 😁👍🏻

From She to Me has a recipe & Video for Million Calorie Chocolate Cake - I'm thinking you should make it in your Instant Pot, you know, for Medicinal purposes, to ensure you don't lose weight while having your treatment 😁I need to buy the inner tins to make it and the cheesecake she does. Thats the only problem having the small 3L/Quart Instant Pot, hard to find the accessories for it.
