It’s fair to say that Grin’s most dangerous ball is the quicker one.

Hope their Number 9 is happy with himself, middling one and not walking at this level of cricket for God's sake. Would have saved him the chagrin of getting his off stump pegged back whilst trying to mow one over cow with his head in the air as well 😂

I've had a few of those edged behind not givens, I definitely volunteered to umpire after that and returned the favour the entire innings (being a number 11 is great sometimes).

Haha yes two wrongs don't make a right but at least bowling first we knkw what level of umpiring to aspire to when we bat....

good team performance

Week in week out they still use that opening bowler who frankly is holding the team back. He was so upset after the No 9 was clearly not out. Sohiab was much better. Batsmen No 4 was much better behind the stumps this week.

Great watch as always, however I do recall a video of you nicking one first ball to the keeper and not walking with your excuse being you’d driven a long way to play so maybe shouldn’t criticise too much 😅

Hey fella thankyou! And yes. . As it was the first ball of the season and I'd driven an hour and a half to play I believe it was OK.... (not!) In addition I was a baffoon back then. Some might say I still am! :)

Played at County Officers a few years back - got bowled out for 45 and managed to win by 5 runs. The outfield hasn't improved

Great to see another win. Why would you not walk when youve snicked that btw... he must have known hed be on here too aswell (sidenote) lol

We had a neutral umpire regularly in the league back in the day called Les. He gave everything out. You knew where you stood. And not for very long! :)

Nothing worse than playing a team of cheats. Well done on the win, having to do it the old fashioned way! 💪

Cheers buddy, I wouldn't say they were a team of cheats. They were a good bunch of lads. But in that instance it could have handled it a bit better. I can hand on heart say that I would have walked and if I edge one this season whether I'm on 0 or 99 I'll walk.

So the only dismissal is bowled, late no ball call notwithstanding

I suppose you'll get controversy (cheating) with no umpires. Good win on a ploughed field though.

That bat is Tom Marjoram, well known for cheating, widely disliked (even by some of his own teammates), and a general all-round cnut. Unsurprising he didn't walk for a massive nick off, then barbecued a much better batter.

Crikey! Yes the edge was a bit obvious. But we got the W and had a great day out nevertheless. The run out was satisfying....

Good to see the new disciplinary code for shit decisions has instantly worked as a deterrent 😂 As for Grins bowling action, it seems to be getting ummm……. Debatable at best.😮

Opener not walking is the biggest type of knob in club cricket. Your mate is umpiring you walk for nicks like that. Totally ruins low standard club cricket where there’s no umpires. Then the knob runs the best batsman out. What a player to have in your club. Obviously the umpire himself is an equally big knob blatantly cheating.

think yourself lucky anil dont get called for chucking every week… if you aint happy with the umpiring bring your own! new year same bullshi*
