Umkhathi Theatre Works is a theater, dance, and music troupe formed in 1997 in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe. The company has emerged as a leading performing arts organization in its home country and has performed throughout Africa and overseas. Its mission is to strive for community development through the arts while reviving African traditions and cultures.
BAM/Restoration DanceAfrica Ensemble and BAM have been partners for 17 years in a youth development effort with DanceAfrica as its focus. The group is an annual favorite and a symbol of youth involvement in the preservation of African heritage. The talented young dancers of the BAM/Restoration DanceAfrica Ensemble are students from Bedford Stuyvesant Restoration Corporation's Youth Arts Academy, where they receive intensive training in ballet, modern, African, and contemporary dance. Observing its 47th anniversary this year, Bedford Stuyvesant Restoration Corporation's mission is to be the catalyst for the progressive improvement of the quality of life for the people of central Brooklyn by utilizing every avenue available to foster growth and development through economic, cultural, educational, and social ventures.

so beautiful ,so much positive energy
What an incredible performance. They just jump beautifully for 8 minutes until people start leaving. And every time somebody in the troupe gets tired, they just give it more fire. Excited to see live performance.

Zimbabwe, South Africa and Botswana. Might have to get someone to bring them for you. You will have to find out if there are any restrictions to import them into your country of residence because some of them are made of animal hide and some from a type of gourd and seeds so there maybe agricultural import restrictions. You can try getting some made of bottle tops or tin. Those might be easier to import. Also note that the 3 I mentioned don't sound the same when dancing

Copy what? Educate yourself on the history of Southern Africa before accusing anyone of copying anything from you. If a group of South Africans move to Namibia, do they stop being people of South African heritage and throw away their culture and heritage and clain Namibian ancestry???
