I am having flashbacks to last year, when I was like "Käärijä, who the heck is that? Sounds stupid, must be lame." 😅 Have I ever been more wrong! I don't think it is exaggeration to say that he changed my life, for the better. I hope I get similiar surprise this year once we hear the songs.

The Käärijä effect is visible since there is a lot of rap this year. Maybe too much rap. Luckily rock music is back.

I'm a bit disapointed. And 4 rappers are at least 2 too many. Saying theres something for everyone and then having more than 50% rappers. Hope that the songs will blow my mind, but Im afraid it will be a let down. Would gladly change some of these artists with some of last years artists, many worthy winners last year.

Last year's UMK was great. It probably had 6 out of 7 potential qualifiers for the grand final. (Only Lxandra would have NQ'd. Not because the song was bad but because semi 1 was a bloodbath and ballads didn't make it). And Finland was the real grand final winner last year. 4 rappers is a bit much, but only 1 song wins UMK anyway so there only has to be 1 banger in there.

Finally someone had my opinion. I think karija is sooooo soooo much overrated and i think people like him because of him energy and positive feelings about him. Not damn cha cha and rap. I hope this year artistic act win the umk not just funny :/

Well based on Cyan Kicks last UMK song, I think they are the favourites to win if their new song is just as good or better. But who knows, maybe the others might surprise just like Käärijä did last year. However the first reaction I had was that this feels somewhat downgrade compared to last 2 or 3 years but shouldn't judge until the songs have been revealed

joo joka on ilmoittanut että ei lähde viisuihin jos voittaa , niin hyvä valinta kun ei edes artistia kiinnosta ja vei paikan sellaiselta joka olisi oikeasti halunnut mukaan ja olisi ollut aidosti mukana.
