Amen. His comping is awesome too. I like the figure he introduces at 5:00 in. I dug it, but the struggling Scofield didn't and turned around and gave Joey the hairy eyeball. Didn't phase him, though. He's from Philly, after all.

I think I've watched this 100X. Scofield squeezed in between those to Philly boys.That 5 note(including slide)repetitive phrase by Martino is saying to Sco look what I can do with just these notes....

joey's solo is the greatest, but i've come to really dig the dissonant interplay between sco and pat in the final chorus. Such a tasteful way to end an electrifying performance by all involved
