On this episode we run into some sketchy shelf-roads while exploring canyons in the Blue Mountains / Umatilla National Forest. The views were worth the risk.
Жүктеу.....

Nice job boys. The Umatilla is an amazingly beautiful area for sure. One of your best vids in my opinion. Two pards hangin' out without the women......works for me ! LOL

Depends how tall the grass is. Even on our ranch we don’t drive in the tall dry grass this time of year in high clearance vehicles.

2nd this! The grass may literally be browner on the dry side of the mountains... but metaphorically speaking it is a lot greener.

I think you are braver than I am on those roads. I like a road less traveled, but once they go side hill it gets sketchy pretty quick. Of course nearly rolling down a steep embankment once might have put a bit more caution in on my side. Thanks for sharing! George.

I’d like to say I’m getting used to it but the heart still gets pumping every time. I’ve had a few scares, but knock on wood, no major mishaps. We’re in Moab right now having dinner and headed to Colorado to do Black Bear pass and all the other Jeep badge of honors trails. It’s going to be a great 10 days!

Wow beautiful area. Great advise about walking the road until you find a turnaround!! Backing out sucks. Drone is only so good for scouting ahead, not great at showing off camber areas.
