UMAREX H&K USP (Non-blowback) REVIEW 01/08/2021

Review of one of my first BB pistols, the Umarex H&K USP non-blowback Co2 pistol. Shot count was through my LMBR R2A chronograph until she dropped below 300 FPS. Using Daisy Zinc-plated BB's weighing in at 5.35 grain, she did 153 shots, fairly quickly before hitting 297 FPS. The first few shots were hot starting at 467 FPS, but then settling down to around 350-360 FPS consistently. Then tested with a more sedate 30 second break between shots giving much better performance, average 390 FPS over 20 shots, and an average of 1.80 Ft/Lb with a new Co2 after being dry fired 5 times. Accuracy was pretty good for a BB both at 10 yards, 40 shots at the target semi-rested, and 20 at the can free-standing.
Overall a really nice affordable first BB pistol. Reliable, well put together, great performance in shot count, energy and consistency. Highly recommended.

I've had mine for about 5 yrs...it's a pretty good plinker for $50...I myself don't care about blowback with my airguns...it's just a waste of co2... good video on this good little air pistol

5 years is nuts. I got a cybergun PT92 M9 NBB for £60 and in 6 or 7 months the gas valve was ruined.

And you can even easily take the slide off by first pressing down the plastic barrel breech lid in the ejection port and then pushing the slide off. Way neat even though not advertised.

I was very impressed . Qaulity build although that slide is weakly joined . Apart from that it's always online for me . Takes 22rounds . 140 rounds before another co2. If you can get it around the 100mark .. it's a deal .

I recommend the glock 19, I own one of these and it is not very customizable, if you do want the hk usp it is very reliable, I’ve had it for almost 2 years now and it still works.

I own both and the glock shoots more accurate but the mags on the usp hold the co2 so they fit pouches better and the usp plastic barrel after orange tip removal will take a 11mm-14mm tracer adapter if you thread it in gently to get it started

This is a pretty good nbb airpistol imo. You get shitlots of good shots with one co2 cartridge. My finger got way tired of shooting the darn thing before the co2 ran out..🤣 And way cool to have a fullsize magazine even though is an nbb pistol.

I don’t have the Glock 19 but my wife has the Glock 22 non-blowback. If the trigger is the same I would go for the Glock as the trigger pull on the USP is fairly heavy.

I'm going to buy the all metal Crosman PFM16 instead. It's modelled after a Beretta 84, it's got a unique gunmetal grey color, it's small and concealable for carry, has a metal 20 round stick mag, doesn't need a hex key to puncture the CO2 cartridge, and it shoots over 400 FPS.

19 BBs not 20 and yes it's nice gun, shoots well but MF trigger is heavy AF. I like it because it's compact just like Glock 19 gen3 NBB...

@@ilijabosnjak76 Yeah, that trigger pull is f'n heavy, it's so heavy that the PFM16 does not even need a trigger safety lol. I have the Glock 19 as well, super smooth trigger pull with the automatic trigger blade safety but you still need to use a hex key for the co2 and you have to remove the mag to get at key hole. IMHO the Colt Defender is a better choice, it is the exact same size as the Glock 19 and it has an easy access external turn knob for the co2, only draw back is there is no external mag for quick ammo reloads.

Upon long testing H&K USP Non Blowback air BB pistol 🔫 ,it’s a good 👍 gun but trigger is horrendous..When I compare it with Glock 19 gen3 Non Blowback the difference is more than evident. If I need 3 shots to shoot soda can @20 feet, that ain’t me,that’s the gun.Crosman Vigilante less expensive and I can shoot matchstick from 20 feet (and yes I know it’s a pellet gun).. I will keep it just for collecting but there are better guns out there than this… And that’s my rant…

I went to the store today, the Canadian version of this model is all plastic. The internal barrel inside the pistol is metal, but the exterior is all plastic. Even the dropout magazine in plastic. I don't know why Umarex only made a metal version for the UK, and then a cheap plastic version for Canada. A plastic pistol isnot worth $90 price, not even $70.

Curious, I am from South America and I must check this issue, because here it is at 160 euros and if it is only plastic on the outside, it does not justify the price.

True. There is a plastic version of this. Just no idea why. But a good thing to know and ask about before intent of purchase.
