@@Rumplestiltskin7 There may be individual differences in finger size and thickness, but I didn't find it difficult to use. Better results can be obtained by operating the focusing knob with the pads of your fingers rather than pinching it!

Another beautiful video. I loved how you talked about sometimes noticing stuff in your photos you didn't see when you took the photos. That is indeed one of the wonderful things about photography! Lovely photos, they in combination with your descriptions do a good job of describing the characteristics of the lens. And what characteristics! I can't afford it right now, but I think I'm going to try to save up to maybe get this lens one day. It produces gorgeous images! Though, the images are also obviously even more so down to your skills as a photos. Thanks for making the video, and again: thanks for taking the time to have translations on it. I really appreciate that!

Great video as always, this quick became one of my favorite channels. I like these lenses with “dual personalities”, where it gives unique character wide open, and becomes very sharp when stopped down. It is almost like having 2 lenses in 1!

Agree. This lens has a well-balanced personality, and I think it is a lens that can demonstrate its power in a wide range of scenes. Yet this compactness. Lightweight. That's excellent.

As I said in the video, the NOKTON35mmf1.2 has a stronger personality. In other words, it is an easy-to-understand depiction of personality. However, although the ultron 27mm is not as strong as the NOKTON, it is a lens that has a uniqueness that includes humidity and blurring, and can express high image quality when stopped down. I think it's a lens that experts like.

Thank you for your comment. I think that the part that demonstrates its power varies depending on the scene, such as whether it is AForMF or dustproof and splashproof. These two lenses have the same angle of view as the 27mm, but I think there are differences in the scenes that can be used depending on the application. However, in my personal opinion, I prefer the Ultron 27mmf2 in terms of design and image quality. I don't mind the lack of autofocus. There are currently no plans to create a video that strictly compares the performance of the two.

Thank you for your comment. You mean the picture of the red cone. Basically, all photos are adjusted with RAW development based on "Classic Neg"! The lens is a type that expands and contracts slightly when the focus ring is turned.

Becuase of ur video I finally bought this one second-handed in silver today!! Really like its size and the focus ring goes so handy. But here got one problem confusing me a lot is where can i get the silver rim lens protector ?? lol

Congratulations on your lens purchase! It's a wonderful lens, so please enjoy shooting with it. In Japan, there are filter manufacturers such as Kenko and Marumi, who also sell silver filters. However, the manufacturer of the filter I use for this lens is a minor company called alto.

このULTRON 27mm f2はちょうど検討中のレンズなので、レビュー興味深く拝見しました。大変参考になります。やはり小ささは正義だとよく言われますが、真理ですね。この大きさだとどこにでも持っていけるし、何よりもカメラ自体を格段に小型化できます。冬は大変寒い地方に住んでいるので、真冬に首からカメラを下げてダウンを着て街中スナップに行く時にも、前後長が長くなりすぎないレンズを探していたところです。コシナさんのレンズはほとんど使ったことがないですが、マニュアルフォーカスレンズもAFに慣れた体に活を入れる意味で、あった方が良いかもしれません。40mmnの焦点距離も使い勝手は良さそうですね。あと、同じくコシナのULTRON マクロ35mm f2も面白そうなレンズですね。 御写真いい味わいが出ています。猫さんたちも元気そうで何よりです。うちの猫二匹も相変わらず元気に過ごしています。

軽量コンパクトは非常に大切な要素だと思っています。あと、私たちはデザイン性も重視しています。 持ち運びしやすく、持ち運ぶことが億劫にならない、むしろ持ち歩きたくなる。そういった意味で軽さやデザイン性は大切ですね。 コシナのレンズはどれも素敵なものばかりです！マニュアルフォーカスは慣れてしませば全然苦にならないかと思います。 むしろ「マニュアルだから撮れた！」というシーンも少なくありません。撮影時の楽しさも増すかもしれませんね。 マクロウルトロンは使ったことないので気になりますね！ いつも動画を視聴してくださりありがとうございます。 今年の初めに1匹が癲癇発作を起こすようになり大変でしたが、服薬調整を重ねて最近は落ち着いています。 飼い猫の不調は辛いです。後悔しないように大切に飼育していきたいですね。

私も予約してしまいましたが・・・到着前に作例が楽しめてよかったです。見た目&コンパクトさは重要ですよねぇ。

FUJIFILMのカメラを使うならデザインの良さはこだわりたいですよね。今回、過去1しっくりくるレンズが発売されて興奮しております。　それに加えて描写の満足度もめちゃくちゃ高いので、お気に入りのレンズになりました。借りていたレンズは返送済みなのですが、明日、我が家に購入品が届く予定なので楽しみです。

Great video. I just picked up the 35mm F2 Macro apo-ultron for X mount. I like that it is sharper than the NOKTON at wide open. I've also seen the 27mm and is very interested in it's pancake size. How is the image sharpness at F2.0? Do you also find the small size easy for quick focus/aperture adjustment in street photography? Thank you.

As explained in the video, highlights are slightly blurred at F2. I think this size is perfect for street photography. If you're going to use a Fujifilm camera, you'll want to take advantage of its mobility and compactness. This is the perfect lens for such purposes. The design is also great. The biggest appeal of this lens is its resolution when stopped down!

@@josephlai1078 I felt that the Ultron 27mm is overwhelmingly superior to the XF27mm in rendering from F4 to F8! I really like the design and depiction of this lens!

Thank you for the video review! Does the focus end right at infinity, or does it go a little past infinity like some other lenses?

The depth of field is deep, and when you stop down a little, the area in focus becomes wider. Sorry for not understanding the question "Does the focus end immediately". English is difficult. Sorry if my answer doesn't answer your question.

Yes base on my copy it does end exactly at infinity. Unlike 35/1.2 which it goes further beyond infinity so have to turn it back a bit everytime.

おおおお！完全なモチふぉとと同じ組み合わせですね！動画内でもチラッと写っていますが、X-E4との見た目のバランスすごくいいです！　 あのフィルターに気付くとはお目が高いです！笑　「アルト　クラシックフィルター」という商品です。　やや高額ですけど、デザイン、実感ともに気に入ってるフィルターです。　見た目に妥協したくないレンズにはこのフィルターを使っています。　是非ウルトロンにつけて楽しんでください！

ULTRON27mmとKZreadで検索してモチふぉとさんに到達しました。カメラ関係の動画は3年間ぐらいよく見ていましたが、このモチふぉとさんの動画は知りませんでした。 モチふぉとさんの動画は静かで品の良さに感心しました。明日からモチふぉとさんの動画を全部見ます。後期高齢者ですから時間があります。よい教材が見つかりました。 基本はフジのＸマウントを使っています。

after the latest firmware update on XT5 most of the Voigtlander lenses show F22 at the exif when shot wide open.For example my Ultron 27mm after taking a picture at F2 it show F22 in exif .DO you encounter this?

Hello. My Voigtlander lens shows the correct F value. There seems to be no problem with the xe4. Is this a problem specific to the xt5?

作例拝見させていただきました！しっとりとした色合いが素敵ですね！ つい先ほど私の手元にも届いたのですが、フォーカスリングを回した際、特定の箇所（距離目盛りで言うと0.5m辺り）でカチッと音がなるのですが、モチふぉと様が所有されている個体も同様でしょうか？ 触っていて少し気になったので、差し支えなければお答えいただけますと幸いです。

こんばんは。昨日、予約したウルトロンが我が家にも届きました!!　今フォーカスリングの音を確認してみましたが「カチ」っていう音は確認できませんでした。　コシナさんからお借りしていた方のウルトロンでも「カチ」っていう音がなった覚えはないですね...。

もちフォトさんの雰囲気有りつつでウルトロン良いですね♪ 40mmの画角でF2は充分明るいのも⭕️ですね。 こちらの方も、フォクトレンダー特有の一段絞りからのウニウニもでそうなシャープさもあり最短撮影距離からのマクロっぽい使い方も面白そうですし、購入検討してみます♪

コメントありがとうございます。クラシックネガを基調にRAW現像で調整しています。現像スタートの時点から色味の濃厚さ、湿度などを感じた記憶があります。 なのでレンズの特性も関係しているかと思います！

35mmf1.2を買うつもりでしたが、この動画の写真が良すぎて迷ってしまいました

嬉しいコメントありがとうございます。 個性的なボケ味やオールドレンズらしさのような刺激的な描写を求めるならnoktonでしょうか。もう少し達観した視点で長い間使い続けるレンズという意味ではultron27mmf2。っていうイメージがありす！　結局は個人個人の用途や好みによりけりなので...悩みますよね。

nokton35mmを手放してこのレンズを購入するか、迷い中です。焦点距離はもちろんですが、描写も違うんだろうなぁ…よりコンパクトになることと、シルバーレンズの見た目に惹かれてしまいます。

noktonの方が「楽しい」「使いやすい」と感じる人が多いのではと思っています。ultronの方がより玄人向けというか、渋い、そんなイメージです！　キャラクターは別物なので悩みますね！nokton売らずにultronを買い足す。が正解ですね！（笑

さすがSAITさん！ 反射的に予約とはウチと一緒ですね！笑 意識がシルバーの方にしか向いてなくて黒のデザイン全然チェックしていなかったです。でもきっとNOKTON35mmみたいにいい感じの見た目なんだと思います！ SAITさんがultronを使って感じた印象など、あとで聞いてみたいです！

I own both an ultron 27mmf2 and a nokton 35mmf1.2 lens, but each lens has its own personality, so I want to use them according to my mood and location on the day. However, I like the design of Ultron 27mmf2, so I think I will have more opportunities to take it out.

I have XF35mm and Nokton 35mm for quite a long time, and now I started to appreciate 27mm angle of view (although at first I wasn't interested). I think it's a matter of habit. 23mm is also very cool lens, as far as I can see in the reviews. The 35mm Nokton is really great for night photography and portraits. It can produce a photo with strong character, smoother bokeh, including beautiful iridescent flares. 27mm impresses me with more precise rendering and structured bokeh, wider coverage, which is good for snapshooting. And it is very compact, it looks very cool with the X-E4.

@@KingFiercer_zip When I reviewed the NOKTON35mmf1.2 on this youtube channel, I explained that it is a lens that allows you to enjoy rendering like an old lens. I think that nokton is the one that can enjoy the impactful depiction. However, I think that the ultron 27mm is also a lens full of hidden charm. Good design, stability, lightweight and compact. I fell in love with this lens.

(よし！あと一押し!) おっと、心の声が漏れてしまいました笑 冗談はさておき、オートフォーカスの有無が大きな違いだと思います。普段からオールドレンズ等でMF撮影をしていて抵抗がないっていう方には是非使ってもらいたいです！ウルトロンならではの描写は確かに存在しています。 フジツボ型？ネジ式？のフードが同梱されていますが、フードなしの外観の方が好きなので付けませんでした！
