It really hits hard when Sagat says he's disappointed in Ryu, considering that Ryu was the one who humbled him, and lead him away from the path of darkness.

Personally, i think Sakuras quote is kinda heartbreaking. Her hero, her idol, turned to the dark with her begging him to wake up. Ow

I like how most characters are moreso concerned for Ryu than anything. Also, Ryu defeating E.Ryu with a metsu shoryuken is poetic in a way: He did not just defeat the satsui no hado, he conquered it

I think it would have been ironic to have ryu finish evil ryu with a Metsu hadoken. As you said, the metsu shoryuken was very poetic in terms of story

Okay, but Evil Ryu showing respect to Makoto's skills in his pre-battle quote surprised me in a good way

He's consumed by his need to win, but that doesn't mean he can't still find fighting a worthy opponent exciting, especially since she's hotblooded and eager to win herself

Even Oni says he wants to see how far her training has brought her. Makoto is just pure potential and it'd be nice to see her in some newer games

Yeah, i know what you mean. Though they are enemies, it's not in a personal level. It is a little detail but this quote alone makes Vega much more than a standard henchman. Yeah, they did a fine work with his in SF4

@@D3nz3lCr0ck3r and the fact that he doesn’t like ugliness like evil ryu. What that means is that he thinks that grovelling beneath someone, or a specific power is ugly. He hates seeing it on anyone, whether that be a good guy or evil guy.

9:12 those sound effects had me shook. Especially the first cutscene punch and the finisher.
