The movie that you are talking about is called, Last Christmas, based on the song by George Michael , and Andrew Ridgely ( of Wham ). Andrew was in the last scene , where everyone sings Last Christmas. 🎄.

I'd move right in. Add the furniture to the deal, along with all the decor. The only thing missing is a built in coffee maker, but it would go right into the pantry easily. Otherwise it is perfect. Great job on the tour, you are one of my favorite presenters. 😍

I love that office. As a photographer i could put that to so much good use. Wow. Lot of wasted space on the second floor for sure that could be bedrooms. Especially considering that a place like this will most likely have a huge basement also. Still a beautiful home for the price.

Lovely home. I only wish the half bath was on the office/garage side of the home. I had a home with a powder bath right at the entrance to my master bedroom. I like to entertain and I never close my bedroom doors. It always felt like an invasion of privacy to have people staring into my bedroom or a closed of door did not help air flow with a crowd. Plus most action happens on the kitchen side of the house and just find it more convenient to have powder bath where the people gather..

I love the flat doors without handles in kitchen (easier to clean). Only thing I wasn't crazy about was stairs after your upstairs. Why can't they give elevator options in the day and age? Also, I like a more defined foyer and mudroom.

The home is beautiful as a show home. I find it interesting that years ago home designers started to incorporate larger, open kitchens attached to a family room, usually towards the backside of the house so that the family could keep an eye on kids while they played be able to work in the kitchen and still be with the family, see the game on the TV but that was where work was being done things might be a bit messy and Toys could be out and cushions off the sofa on the floor. This was separate and apart from the more formal dressy living room, and probably separate dining room. What I see has evolved now is that very showy formal looking living room, dining room kitchen spaces have all been incorporated into one the separate formal living room and dining room has disappeared, and now people are expected to have these large very well appointed glossy surface Living areas on display all the time. I think it would cause a lot of people to tear their hair out thinking that they bought a home that should look ready to be photographed by Better Homes & Gardens at any moment of the day but they’re actually really living in it and the kids have their toys and their puzzles and their games and their socks and everything all over the living area. There’s jam prints on the Dining table and everyone in the family has left their fingerprints and dried food cake on all these shiny polished kitchen cupboard doors. It really looks lovely when it’s Better Homes & Gardens ready but boy I’d be annoyed to have to run around and clean that place up every day so that when I turned my head and the light on the right way, I didn’t see5000 fingerprints all over the cupboard doors in my kitchen while I was sitting in my living room. Probably my point of view but I wouldn’t buy that stuff.

Excellent work by the designers. Very good size bedrooms. Modern kitchen, beautiful backyard, luxurious office. The architect's work is not very good - the staircase blocks the entrance to the house. For some reason, the second floor is also not on the same level - there are two or three steps here and there, it’s uncomfortable.

I only need the first floor. Will the builder charge me 1/2 the price? I love the master shower. When I am old and in the wheelchair, my husband can push me in the shower. If I build this house, I would add 1 to 2 ft higher ceiling in the great room/dining/kitchen and make it a ranch and not a 2 stories. Make the Den into a 3rd bedroom & 3rd bathroom, put the office in where the staircase is and switch the location between the water closet and the bathtub in the master bath. This would be my retirement home.

Im seeing more and more butlers pantries lately, but this house is just big to be big. There is duplicate rooms to the point of redundancy. And double double vanaties? I like the privacy door, the back screen and porch. Not a fan of the funky wall leading to the 2nd down stairs bedroom with two different doors to the bathroom, and does every single bedroom need its own full bath? It has some nice features but this one definitely isnt for me

Homes that are designed to look futuristic are usually the ones that go out of style the quickest. Go for the ones that have a design that have stood the test of time. The design and color of this house is rigid and sterile with its upscale office feel and the black color scheme. It’s more appropriate for a vacation rental than a permanent home. A permanent home should feel cozy and comforting. This house doesn’t do that. The only things I like about this home is the back patio area and the beautiful big shower in the master bedroom. Put a natural stone real wood burning fireplace instead of the fake fireplace in the back patio and it’s perfect. The rest of the house feels like everything is licorice. Very sterile and impersonal feel to it. It encourages the residents and guests to be uptight and not relaxed. That’s the energy it gives off except for the back patio and master bedroom shower. The black stair rails and cabinets should be replaced with wood and the black countertops should be replaced with granite or quartz. As a matter of fact all the black should be replaced with something less sterile, less office building-ish, and more homey. All the black just gives it a very uptight mood as if on your day off work like the weekend you’d still be walking around the house dressed in business slacks, shoes, and shirt. Guests would walk into the house feeling like they’re under dressed. The design and color scheme is good for one thing IMO. That is if you’re a CEO of a large company and you have business meetings with coworkers and clients at this house. It works for that.

Why don’t they build houses of this quality in smaller versions? If they do, where are they? In townhomes in the city of equal monetary value to the mansion in the suburb? Like, I know downsizing this house by 50% wouldn’t make it 50% of the price, but still… we don’t all need this much space, and most of us can’t pay $2.5 million on a home. Who are they building all these houses for?!? Lol. Listen, I just feel that I could happily live in a much smaller space, if it was a custom home quality build. Like, I’d just need more built in storage solutions to make rooms multifunctional. The way they do in tiny homes. But that takes carpentry skills and innovative designs to pull off, and that just does not exist in new builds. Well, except the tiny home builds. All the money is in mansions and tiny homes. Feels like there is very little in between. There used to be fixer uppers that filled that gap, but all those got bought up by investment groups, DIY flippers, and downsizing baby boomers. Dang. I shoulda been a builder like my dad wanted.
