Ultra Luxury Condo Tour in Bangkok - Cost of Living Thailand
Check out the RW4U website: retiredworkingforyou.com/
This is the 2nd of 3 condo tour videos that went live TODAY! Want to see how the rich people live in Bangkok, Thailand? Today, I have released 3 videos, each showing a luxury condo rental right in the heart of Bangkok. I often show condos and houses for rent in Thailand for $500 (15,000 baht) per month but this time I thought I'd show you some of the nicer condo buildings in Bangkok and you can see what they cost. Even if, like me, you can't afford them....it's always fun to window shop. And if you can afford them, here is the contact information for Mirela at Sukhumvit Homes, Bangkok's top agency for luxury properties. And no, this video is NOT sponsored by them....I actually used their services when I moved here, and can personally recommend them to my viewers.

Seeing these videos just makes me miserable! I bought a now 51 year old unit/condo in Sydney with a 30 year mortgage in Australia 13 years ago because It was all I could afford... I had a lucky break and that's now paid for! I've been looking at 'CHEAP' Condo's to buy in Thailand as an investment/2nd home but most I've seen under 2 million baht are tiny and not in Bangkok (I wish we farangs could own land/houses there without dodgy workarounds!).... I wonder what you would make of an 'opposite' of luxury condo tour ;) - how bad can they be!

request : dirt cheap apartments to rent, no A/C, ceiling fan, for $100/month or less - thank you. The cheaper and rougher the better, shared bathroom is acceptable.

One tip - if you’re dealing with non-Thai agents you’re probably paying too much

Bangkok is very nice you will like life there. And people are very nicely and friendly.
Some properties prices are getting very expensive in Bangkok. This is coming close to the price of a same size apartment in the best part of Paris (not furnished, though).

Amazing video again. Your nailing it on youtube Chris! Being a millennial I can't help but like new development projects like this one. Bangkok has some stunning condos for sure!
To share some ideas. This condo is 137 SQM. I estimated the buying price for this room is about 160,000*137= 21,920,000 THB. Thus, the rent cost would be around 21,920,000*0.07=1,534,400 THB/Year. or 127,867 THB/month.($4000 USD) But it comes with modern furniture, then the cost must be higher than this. I saw someone said that it is super expensive for the 3rd world country. I don't think this is the right reason. No matter which tier for this country is but the rent must be based on the real cost of investment plus profit. What would be the rent should be for this kind of condo in States? Can you imagine?
I love it, keep them coming. We appreciate you bro🍻

Great looking condo!! I've been coming to Bangkok/Thailand since the 90s but never entertained the idea of buying a condo, because of the chance that i might one day not be admitted back into the country.

A bit pricey for my tastes but I wouldn't mind looking at the 40k to 50k baht per month range for decent one bed units when I retire in 3 years time!
WOW.... Love It... Can't afford it... Yet.. but still nice to see some Bangkok Luxury between the ordinary comfort too... Maybe a family coffee time at the Oriental hotels verandah some day... 👍👍👍💐🎉Thanx Chris😁
Love to see The River condos and Bayan Tree
Thank u for your videos. Do u think itll be safe to travel to Bangkok in July? Your last video u mentioned a lockdown?
150k Baht... I could live such a nice life in bangkok for those money, more or less same quality building, even better location, and still have 2/3 of it left for a very pleasant lifestyle. I could even have a beach condo somewhere in thailand if i wanted a break from bkk. The rents in bangkok are pretty crazy, there is no end. I guess its a common feature in a super sized city. But then again, if you open a website and look at condos you can find some pretty crazy bargains now.. due to the situation i guess. Edit: Great vid as always chris, cant get enough of condo views. I've watched a lot of em both in bkk and for singapore. As a westerner is great inspiration for renovating my house to see some new influences!

Absolutely fantastic however You need one more place to go and check out and that is The Mandarin Oriental Residences right next to Iconsiam. The auto valet parking is out of this world and their management team is a 6 star from Mandarin Oriental hotel across the river. Plus they have a private yacht dock in front by the river.

I just want to thank you for doing a great tour of a luxury condo. It's actually hard to find KZreadrs reviewing more high-end condos, which is what many of my friends and I are looking for. The focus is so heavy on budget, low-end options for retirees or those with limited incomes. But there is a large market segment consisting of middle-aged men still in the workforce-and in their prime earning years-who are working remotely. The deluge of low-end options is just too much.

Hi Chris I want to know more about international school in Bangkok such as how much and location do u have any good recommendations ? Feel free to get back pls thank you
Are there any condos with dishwashers and driers in Bangkok?
I don't like highrise condos & max 4 th floor I could comfortably sleep & prices are just great , small fraction of this. Do you remember Jomtien Pattaya fire in highrise ??! Also power in Bkk goes off often when lightnings strike in rainy season & once a person gets stuck in private elevator, like during monsoon thunder it is very horrible experience. Some people survived horror luxury accommodations. Chose wisely for peace of mind , avoid high risk behaviors. Unfortunately I have witnessed few too many people falling off high floors due to fires or under influence , drunk so it is F... enough for me.
Man I think I was rich until I saw your vid for this place, and I live on the water in Vancouver area.
Looks like you can step out the front door of the building and immediately be subject to dripping water or anything falling from above.
hahahahha Hayley and the shoe closet , Classic... Lovely unit, But I hate heights lol .

This is beyond superb. I may just move here honestly....im from new york but im tired of the states
Beautiful condo and apartment, but 150k a month is insane. I'm not sure it's worth it, considering the amazing apartments i've seen in BKK for a third of that price.
but how about Purchase price vs. Rent price???
Important Question I will like you to ask, are the buildings Earthquake resistance and tsunamis resistance
It's a beautiful condo, but of #1 and #2, I think #1 is a much better deal for me (except that I don't need 4+1 bedrooms). The glass doors on the bathrooms in this one really bother me, even if I live alone. I don't get it. LOL
