Most likely Hellblade 2 as the opener and either Fable (or a surprise new IP/game reveal) will close the show. Avowed will be near the end of the showcase as well, but not at the very end. Also, it's possible (but I hope this doesn't happen) but Forza Motorsport could open the show as well, but I personally don't think so.

Starfield , avowed , stalker , hellblade and fable. Anything else is icing on the cake.

My predictions for first party stuff: Hellblade II gameplay, Forza Motorsport gameplay, Halo Infinite BR Mode in game trailer, Avowed in game trailer, Fable in engine trailer, Indiana Jones gameplay, Gears 6 in engine trailer, and of course, Starfield gameplay :^)

Starfield at 60 would be an epic way to cap the show. Won’t have to wait long to witness peak showcase. See y’all on the other side.

This show is definitely going to be great. The two games I've wanted to see for a while are fable and state of decay 3. Glad at least one will show...but still crossing fingers for the other.

After the launch of RedFall Xbox needs to have good news and showcases for exclusives. Seeing that the PS showcase wasn't great, this is a perfect opportunity to show the world what Xbox can deliver in the next 12 months. Don't get so defensive and fanboy-ish at the slightest remark made about Xbox. I love console gaming overall, sorry for not subscribing to your idiot views.

Gears of war collection doesn't exist.

I think overall the show is going to be a good one, I completely agree with your take this will be one of the better Xbox showcases in years. However I really hope they dont close the show with Fable, while I am very excited to see the game the fact they have already teased it would ruin that big "One More Thing" moment for me.

I hope they don't restrict themselves with "These games are on Gamepass" type announcements because major 3rd party games do elevate these showcases. And there is nothing wrong showcasing a game that isn't coming to Gamepass.

I think Hellblade looks amazing. I think the facial animation tech is nothing short of amazing. What I can't understand is why they chose that actress. She's so over the top she gives off anime vibes. She did it to the last game too.

If I remember correctly back in the first game she was not even directly an actress, but rather someone who worked at the studio and seemed suitable for the job? They didn't exactly have the budget for the big actresses back then probably.

What I want is an Escape from Tarkov xbox port announced, that would make the show for me.

I’m so excited, but I genuinely hope they’re not let downs like Redfall and I also hope Gears make an appearance either a remastered or a new Gears

After all, between Shadow of the Tomb Raider being a timed exclusive on Xbox, and Crystal Dynamics partnering with The Initiative on Perfect Dark, that relationship already exists.

17:28 I think there's no way, such a huge and ambitious world, with over 1000 planets will run at 60 fps on Console.

When it comes to 3rd Party games, I'm guessing that The Lamplighters League will be there. Its a Strategy game from the devs of the Shadowrun Trilogy which has already been confirmed to launch on Game Pass later this year. I also wouldn't be surprised if some of the mainline Shin Megami Tensei games get ported to Xbox. 3 and 5 are likely, 4 is a bit more of a hopium pick

I expect to see Brutal Legend 2, Rand! Back me up here!

Fable before Holiday 2024 would make me cry. Any Fable will be great news, but seeing “2025” would be a huge bummer.

Here’s my prediction The show opens with forza Motorsport with a holiday release WINDOW and closes with Hellblade 2 in-engine story trailer with a holiday 2024 window, in between is all 3rd party with some minor game pass announcements. Keeping my expectations as low as possible

Seriously doubt gears 6 shows up. Coalition mentioned it was in early development a year ago.

They have already announced Starfield will be a 30 FPS game, Todd said he wants a cinematic feel. This is 100% fine, as this is a art form and artists get to pick how they want their game to look and feel.

I don't think Persona 6 will be revealed anytime soon unfortunately, but I'm 99% sure that Persona 3 Remake will be revealed at the Xbox showcase, perhaps as a day-one Game Pass release.

I’d really like to see Everwild again, but I feel like Microsoft might be worried about too many of their western RPGs all coming out at the same time due to delays. From Bethesda, I imagine its far off but I’m most interested in what IDsoftware is doing next. From these major studios I’d really like to see more AA titles like Pentiment. It’d really help round out Microsoft’s first party release schedule.

I'm taking Phil Spencer's advice, until I see the shit I'm pessimistic, but it may make me upgrade from a one X and finally get fast af broadband.

What games are you getting this year? Last year we redfail and starfield.

Given the drought of first party exclusives for the first part of this generation i think MS really need to show off all their previously announced games. No shows for games like Hellblade 2, Avowed, Everwild, Project Dark, State of Decay, Fable and Forza would be pretty bad considering all of these games were announced years ago.

It's basically impossible but it would blow everyone tf away if Starfield shows up with 30, 60 and 120fps modes

Now that I think about it, if Fallout 4 can run at 60 fps (quality tbd), then Starfield could also run at 60. Eventually (quality tbd).

Don't forget the 40fps 120hz mode which developers seem to be oblivious to. Ratchet and Clank has this mode and performs smoothly. If it can't to 60fps there is always 40fps which it much more achievable without too much of a downgrade.

Is project Dragon from IO dead? I never hear anybody talk about that anymore,

I believe Hellblade II is coming next year, not this year. Probably around March, like you suggested. I'm ok with that for sure, but I'd like to see some gameplay at the show.

I'm really hoping to see Indiana Jones. I can't imagine it is that far along though. I'd assume that game is coming late 2024 or 2025.

Rare Studios needs to show some stuff soon. Fable, Avowe, Forza, Hellblade, Starfield all has to be here no matter what, with gameplay in length. Perfect Dark, Indiana Jones, can be a ways off, but may need 2-5min combination of in-engine/CGI. 10-15 new in A3 and indie ips, and road map for rest of year. 1-4 stealth drop games. What will win everyone routing for Xbox success is if they announced everything shown comes this year or early next year, Gamepass family plan, Xbox Live goes free for all, and yes ABK deal done with UK issues resolved. New compact all digital Xbox seriers X and S Elite revised console coming soon...

You know what i would really love to see? Ryse 2!! That game was so good, it's been 10 years, so why not celebrate the 10 year anniversary and announce Ryse 2!!.

I would bet you that cod mw3 will be in there somewhere and with a game pass day one sticker on it. I hope they will announce the game pass family subscription.

Nope, CoD playstation marketing isn't ending until later this year/next year, so I doubt it can get announced at the Xbox showcase

Would be nice if fallout has something in the show , even just a release window for the next gen update for fallout 4. Really hoping that starfield is great , won’t be long until we get a look at it.

I think Bethesda will announce or shadow drop the fallout 4 remaster as well as announce the starfield controller, headset, collectors edition and also the new mobile game they see working on

Why does everyone assume the Starfield Direct will be only 25 - 30 min? It could very well take up 45 - 60 min of the two hours…indeed, I hope it does! 😁

For a good show Starfield has to have a good showing. Fable gameplay. Forza release date. Either Helblade 2 or Avowed gameplay and at least a release date from one of the two. A world premiere trailer from either Complusion games or id. Few Game Pass announcements and release dates from past E3's. Couple 3rd party announcements. Either world premieres or gameplay from Contraband and Stalker 2. Plus all the normal showcase stuff. For a great show, everything I mentioned plus even more trailers from less expected games like, State of Decay 3, Perfect Dark, Everwild, The Outer Worlds. For an amazing show, everything I mentioned Plus not only Halo season 4 but (Tatanka) world premiere and release window (maybe for season 5.) Sea of Thieves; Not only season 10 but something huge and unexpected. Grounded expansion. More unexpected trailers from their studios. And to finish it off a Banjo announcement or a revival of an old IP to end the show. Or maybe end the show with an unexpected unannounced AAA game. Might be asking for too much but I'm hoping for a big show.

I would love to see a Lost Odyssey remake or remaster announcement, but I won’t be holding my breath. If what you predict comes to pass and we get some new Sega/Atlus announcements along with some other new Japanese content, I’ll be a happy camper.

While last years show was locked by 12 month restriction, I think this year they will give you a decent sense of a "roadmap" much like a MCU style timelone. Phil repeatedly talks about 1 big game per quarter and I think he may want to showcase what that could be. For those reasons I think Starfield is September, Forza is November, and Hellblade 2 is February or March....after that is anyone's guess
