    Originally, the script had Toad asking "you know what happens when..." about several of his toad related powers throughout the movie. All that ended up being cut, so now the line has no context.

    It gets even funnier when you realize that another marvel movie says that the Winter Soldier carried out the JFK assassination, meaning that Magneto lost to a dude with a whole arm made of metal (yes I know they’re not in the same timeline but it’s still funny)

    the fact that magneto did not care what powers the Senator got adds a whole new layer of depth to this rendition of magneto. never would have noticed that without ryan george. accidently uncovering unintended character development is tight.

So a machine probably wouldn’t be able to turn people into mutants of that degree. And even if he did set it that way, he may have only set it for Kelly. Especially if he wanted to make sure he survived. He probably went as high power as he could with Rogue and NY

    Fun fact for language enthusiasts: Even though a wolverine is not a canine but part of the Mustelidae family that also includes badgers, weasels and otters among others, the name wolverine derives from the word wolvering, which is a diminutive of wolver, which does indeed mean "savage animal or man who behaves like a wolf", ultimately stemming from the name wolf.     Interesting fact about that storm quote before she kills toad. Originally that was actually something toad said throughout the movie, but was cut for reasons so her saying it at that moment was actually supposed to be her mocking toad before he died.

    I just noticed how the older movies were "Magneto thinks Mutants are superior to humans so he wants to get rid of them" and in the newer movies it was "Magneto knows how humans react to other groups of people they don't understand and pin their problems on so he wants to get rid of them before it's too late, again"

    This Pitch Meeting is actually missing something he forgot to mention how they left out one of the main/best characters Gambit and completely changed the ages of Rogue, Pyro and Iceman. But I totally agree he should make one for the original animated series. I think there are some other versions too like X-Men Evolution that would be pretty easy to pick apart as well.

    Watching this makes me appreciate how he's only gotten better at this with time. Not that the early ones were bad, but they do feel like the comedic timing has gotten stronger.

    Also, the way that Magneto catches the jet would have been far, Far, FAR more deadly to its occupants than if it had hit the ground and then glided/ tumbled to a halt. Stopping it abruptly like that would have caused everyone on the jet to end up as a smear of pinkish-red ooze on the inside walls of the jet.

    No a head on crash into the ground would have been absolutely lethal for everyone involved, Magneto catching it would at worst have involved similar deceleration but without any of the blunt trauma, punctures, burning, gas, etc, that would have accompanied a nosedive into the earth.

    With powers like that I imagine it took as while for magneto to figure out don't control. The Newton's cradle is a great way to constantly practice manipulating a small amount of metal all the time. It's the kind of practice that pays off the longer you do it.
