Originally, the script had Toad asking "you know what happens when..." about several of his toad related powers throughout the movie. All that ended up being cut, so now the line has no context.

This Pitch Meeting is actually missing something he forgot to mention how they left out one of the main/best characters Gambit and completely changed the ages of Rogue, Pyro and Iceman. But I totally agree he should make one for the original animated series. I think there are some other versions too like X-Men Evolution that would be pretty easy to pick apart as well.

Also, the way that Magneto catches the jet would have been far, Far, FAR more deadly to its occupants than if it had hit the ground and then glided/ tumbled to a halt. Stopping it abruptly like that would have caused everyone on the jet to end up as a smear of pinkish-red ooze on the inside walls of the jet.

No a head on crash into the ground would have been absolutely lethal for everyone involved, Magneto catching it would at worst have involved similar deceleration but without any of the blunt trauma, punctures, burning, gas, etc, that would have accompanied a nosedive into the earth.

With powers like that I imagine it took as while for magneto to figure out don't control. The Newton's cradle is a great way to constantly practice manipulating a small amount of metal all the time. It's the kind of practice that pays off the longer you do it.

The origin story for why Wolverine's claws look so bad in X-Men Origins is incredible and actually makes sense given how terrible they look. Keep up the good work!

It's not that they think everything needs a backstory, it's that the companies bought these properties for billions of dollars and are desperate to get every last penny back on that investment

I've watched all of the pitch meeting compilations, it was super easy, barely an inconvenience.

So I’m rewatching these in the end of 2022 and knowing what I know now, Ryan’s ‘Hey, shut up’ line would have fit in so many places in the older videos

Amazing how over time and experiences Ryan's delivery has evolved and became on point where his jokes are still the same, but they hit so much harder now. It's like watching an amateur vs a pro with the new videos lol. Almost hard to watch the old videos

Absolutely brilliant, incisive and hilarious throughout. Too bad the real studio execs don’t hire Ryan to do one of his Pitch Meetings BEFORE the screenplays are turned into stupid movies. Oh well, at least we have these wonderful videos.

Omg that first X-Men video is one of the best I’ve ever seen in the 100+ I’ve watched from you. Editing this, because the second video is just as good. Have to edit again, based on him falling asleep in the 4th video. This guy is funnier than most comedians I’ve seen.
