Ultimate Stabilizer Guide for Machine Embroidery | Embroidery for Beginners
Stabilizers come in different sizes and colors, and are used for different fabrics and design types. Depending on what you embroider, you do need the 3 main types of stabilizer:
Tear Away: used for any stable woven fabric that doesn’t stretch, such as leather, towels, vinyl
Wash Away: used for any sheer fabrics, such as organza, freestanding lace, 3D and cutwork designs
Cut Away: used for products that are worn and washed regularly. The most stable and good to use for heavy designs with large stitch counts.🧵

finally a clear explanation on stabilizer, thank you so much
I can't get enough of this! It's already lighting up my day! - "In the journey of life, your commitment fuels your triumph.."
Love this video! For newbies I always tell them “if you wear it don’t tear it!” So they know on things like shirts and stretchy clothes to stick with cutaway. Fusible is my fav and I often use an extra layer of stabilizer on wild designs!
This is the best video Stabilizer guide I have seen. Thank you.
Let's gooooo! Been following your channel for a while and now that you've joined John Deers team I cannot wait for what's to come. Love from Cape town South Africa!!

Thank you! Question: I used iron-on no-show mesh, another layer no-show mesh, wash-away under t-shirt, clear wash-away on top. Stitches out beautifully. BUT: after washing in luke-warm water, the redwork-type design puckered badly on the inside. Looks like a cool effect, but not exactly what I was looking for.
Thank you very much for this valuable information. Do you have any reddit/discord?
Hi. Super video. What does it mean “oz” in grams? Thank you!
