Personally, this like many other stuff from Ultimate, is too crazy for my suspension of disbelief. Prefer 616's more grounded approach where the biggest villain of Pete's teenage years was Otto, you know, a normal guy with strong mechanical tentacles, not a flaming, murderous Hulk wannabe of 1610's Goblin or deformed clone Carnage

This game and it's presentation is sooo underrated. Gameplay was eh but the music, story, and the whole comic book aesthetic are amazing.

The combat is actually really fun when you get the hang of it. It's not as advanced as Spider-Man 2's, but this is a less experienced Peter. So it makes sense with him not being as versatile in terms of combat.

I remember 7 year old me seeing this version of the green goblin for the first time and in my head I was like “Since when did Hulk have fire powers?”😂

The opening cutscene is actually amazing love how they portrayed the green goblin in this game

In Disney's ultimate Spider-Man there is the ultimate comics version of the goblin. Besides being an actual monster and throwing fire they made him faster and have demonic wings making it near enough impossible for Spider-Man to escape him. The goblin I just described comes from Miles Morales world in that specific show by the way.

the graphics in this game is much like a comic

Finally finished both the chase & the fight. The fight is rather easy when you start to get his attack patterns & how to dodge those attacks. I found a few things useful in the fight- General tip- Double jumping is overrated. sometimes jumping without the double jump is useful. Phase 1: It`s better to dodge most of his attacks with a single jump. Whether it`s his fireballs or lunging at you, but when he does that charge thing where he shoots 2 fireballs without a break, you can dodge the 1st one with a jump then the second one with a double jump, but *remember to time your double jump so you do it when he fires the fireball* . Phase 2: Avoid the fireballs & lunges the way I mentioned, but now after 3 continuous missed jumps on you, he does a jump in the air & ground pounds with big fire blast. I found it easier to do single jumps to dodge him lunging at you 3 times, then doing web zip or double jump on the 3rd lunge to get near a wall, sticking to the wall when he does his fire blast ground pound, then attack him. Remember, in fights the fight system rewards you for using all kinds of abilities Spidey has in the game, even if they look unconventional for a fight. For the Chase I took some shortcuts instead of staying right behind Goblin. But you have to pay attention to that meter above you telling how far you are to him so you know from how much distance you can chase him & when to get back behind him on the route. also practice making quick turns because this guy LOVES suddenly taking turns I hope this helps

The green goblin being Osborn is a big surprise in this game to this day. Guess this is why I like the tobey maguire films.

Which villain is big and strong enough to jump through the streets of the city in a big ball of fire? Why that would be none other than the green goblin but with a monster look he can be tough to beat. You must follow him as he jumps through the streets and try to keep up with him and don't forget that he can throw fireballs at you so avoid those. When you get to the area by the Baxter building the goblin is indestructible in his flame mode so wait till the flames turn off to do some damage to defeat him once and for all.

For 9 year old me, it was the Electro fight where I struggled the most.

i’m always almost defeating this boss i always get stuck in second phase of the battle and i always died many times after getting stuck at electro now it’s green goblin

I always wanted to see Ultimate Venom fight Ultimate Goblin

This mission was fun on my phone lol it's took me about 30mins to complete it but it was worth it😊

I remember dis spiderman game came out when i was a 11 years old

I always liked the ultimate comics take on the Goblin. I think him having the ability to throw fire was a nice concept. Though I have to say Disney's ultimate Spider-Man made the ultimate goblin even more of a threat by giving him wings and faster making it near enough impossible for Spider-Man to escape him.

@@donathan2933 yeah Disney's Ultimate Spider-Man version of the Ultimate Goblin is even more dangerous then the Ultimate comics version in my opion. The Disney version makes up for not having a glider to fly around on by having giant demonic wings, still has pyrokinesis but it comes out of his eyes and he has enhanced senses meaning he is capable of catching Spider-Man's scent be it Peter or Mile's and track them down through their smell, talk about an ultimate Spider-Man predator

I had no memory card on ps2 so that meant i had to go thru this fight every time i had to restart the story. This shit was hard as hell for me as when i was 8

man i was scared when I first fought this boss. I never gotten that far in the game before. It was nostalgic man. this green goblin was scary and demonic. Loved it. But damn I used to rage fighting him. the fireballs be tracking me. Even when I dodge em, they still hit me someone. Dope boss fight though.

Bro I just passed this level today you got to have patience and stay focused I stood back and smoked weed and played this about 40 times and I finally beat it

This boss is extremely hard and cruel, he is very fast, very annoying (especially when are you trying to rescue people), his attacks are almost cheap. I losed a lot of times until I finally defeated him.

That's basically how you beat him. The problem is dodging is difficult in this game. They should have given Spider-Man a dedicated Dodge Button like in the second game. What they should have done is have a Sprint Button on L2 and have it to where if you tap the button, he auto dodges.
