    I'm getting better and better at AE thanks to you, Ben! Quick question: is there a rule of thumb when determining the speed expression (time*X) or is it a whole lot of trial and error?

  • @motiondude
    @motiondude3 жыл бұрын

    much better effect instead of radial blur is polar coordinates(then u also need to animate movement from top to bottom instead of scale up), with radial blur u cannot create high detail fractal and in general its a much worse solution

  • @motiondude

    @motiondude

    3 жыл бұрын

    also u need scale wipe to create light rays to make them lose detail when spreading

    Hey Ben, i have a question, how do you make the whole composition loop perfectly?

  • @fastcarsvlog

    @fastcarsvlog

    3 жыл бұрын

    Before duplicating the first layer, In the turbulence displace evolution options you can switch on 'cycle evolution'. Instead of using the 'time*' expression, add a keyframe at the start at 0 revolutions and a keyframe to the end at 360°/1x (or more than 1). Shift that last keyframe one frame forward from the end of the composition so it loops without repeating the final frame.
