Ultimate Portland Oregon Food Tour | POPULAR Foodie Spots to Try
This Portland Oregon Food Tour takes you to 8 of the best spots to eat & drink. This foodie travel vlog starts out in the Mississippi area and then takes you downtown Portland. For breakfast we get some of the best French Toast at Gravy then we head right down the road to Blue Star Donuts. Lastly we try out a modern Indian flare food truck, Desi PDX where we try some masala pork. Next we head downtown for the famous Voodoo Donuts, stand in the long line, and check out their cute shop. Right next to Powell's Book Store is the popular Sizzle Pie where you can order a slice through their window or get a whole pie to yourself! After all this food we needed a pick me up so we got a coffee at Stumptown Roastery. We wanted to try Nola doughnuts but unfortunately they were closed by time we got there. For dinner we try our first Sushi Train at Sushi Ichiban. It has the cheapest rolls in downtown Portland and a great fun atmosphere! Last but not least we head to Deschutes brewery for a beer and dessert! As a Travel Couple food has become one of our favorite aspects of traveling. Portland, OR has such a huge food scene that we could not pass up the opportunity to do our own DIY food tour!

We're Faris and Lisa
A travel couple from Metro Detroit, MI. We met in business school and started traveling immediately post graduation in 2016 while maintaining automotive marketing positions. We’ve traveled to over 35 different countries together and still can’t get enough!
In April 2021, we made the leap and quit our 9-5 jobs to follow our dreams of full time travel. We sold our house, donated all of our belongings and moved into Tina. Now we document all of our travels via travel vlog style! Subscribe to our KZread channel and Newsletter to follow along on our adventure as we explore North America.

Pip’s has the best doughnuts. It’s where I take all my out-of-town friends. I believe your reactions to Blue Star and Voodoo are super accurate.
You simply have to love how these two are not remotely shallow or vaguely annoying...lol:)
I know this is a food tour but I saw Powell Books flash on the screen. That is such a wonderful bookstore, it seems to have every book in the world.

Yes! We spent a couple hours roaming around there in between all the eating. A great location to get lost at
I LOVE anything Pumpkin. Faris is speaking my language. I have family close to all these places so I'm so excited to visit this week.

Agree. If donuts are not hot, they are not fresh.
"The rain is is not going to stop us." Welcome to the northwest friends lol
Mississippi up and coming??? Mississippi has been fire for at least a decade if not more.
😂😂😂😂 you have no idea how funny it is that you guys picked that exact sizzle pie!!! Literally went to a crap pizza place and missed an amazing coffee shop 2 doors down from there that completely blows your stumptown choice out of the water!!!

Ohh sounds delicious! We will have to try next time!
First of all I want to say thank you for sharing Blue Star!! As a Portlander myself I am a fan of Blue Star and was not even aware that they ever opened back up after Covid. 2nd I wanted to say what?? Rival Voodoo??? I don’t think so!! The only people that go to voodoo are tourists!! Locals don’t eat that crap!! The only reason to go to voodoo is if you really want someplace to go after midnight.
From hot Donuts to hot pizza, Portland is a great town!

Why did you play Chinese music for a Japanese sushi restaurant?
Voodoo is the #1 overhyped doughnut place in Portland. So many restaurants here are overhyped

@FarisandLisa

Yes, a lot. The most in one city we have encountered throughout our travels.
also, $4.50 a slice of pizza? dang, here in La Jolla, San Diego, a meat lover's pizza pie is about $30.00 haha, so about 4 slices, that's $7.50 a slice down here.

where we are from in Michigan a warm donut in the fall at an apple cider mill is very common and way better than a room temp donut.
Quit complaining about voodoo n other spots bro your a random you ain't really from Portland but nice vid
Dude you have to stop talking with food in your mouth 🤮 🤮 🤮 I had to stop watching and I am a big KZread foodie
I've lived here my whole life. 49 years. Portland food options suck. Terrible. Way over rated. No value. Bad service. Too slow. And doesn't even taste good. Name the place. It's true.
every time he as food in he's mouth he sounds weird can't even understand
food looks so mid its not even funny
