I've lived in and around Portland my entire life and it amazes me how much more tourists seem to know about the city than us natives.

oh man, my hometown! hopefully you enjoyed your stay! portland's food scene has grown SIGNIFICANTLY within the last few years so hopefully you come back with more time to try out different spots around town (it seemed like you were only checking out a few of the food cart pods downtown).

Maharlika Bui what spots you suggest to definitely try. Coming this 4/20 weekend
thank you for showing portland some love you need to have a meet and greet down here since you showed us some love now we gotta show you some love!
You need a week in Portland to truly appreciate our unique variety of cuisine!
Portland is a very foodie city. I lived there for twenty-six years until I moved to Arizona about a year ago. There’s a lot I don’t miss about Portland. I do miss the variety and quality of the food available. Even the grocery stores are better in Portland compared to Phoenix. I used to work down the street from the food cart pod. Everything there was fabulous. This video is obviously a few years old, because the pod was dispersed in favor of a hotel. Thanks, guys for the fond memories of good food.
watched many of your videos, shout out to the new music selections and well paced editing. definitely adds vitality to your videos
2 of the most popular comfort food in Thailand; Kao Man Gai (Chicken with fatty rice) Pad Kra Prao (Thai holy basil stir fried)
Another great video guys love it!
:39 David: "... Portland is actually famous for having these food carts. They're kind of like food trucks, but they don't drive anywhere." I wonder how he'll describe food stands.
Love your food vlogggssss!!!
I can't believe how much you guys can eat, you got my respect 👏🏻👏🏻
I subscribed after watching all the way through.I’ve lived here over 30 years and you guys from out of town had to show me the good spots🤣🔥🤟🏽
Hope you guys had a good time in Portland!
You need to add Sugar Street Bakery and Bistro on this list. Honestly the cupcakes are ridiculously Delicious and they are named after Portland streets.... Naito, Pettygrove, Alberta, etc. This place is so popular but still a lot of non locals have no idea about it!
I swear you guys would love “The Whole Enchilada” in Moss Landing in California. Their chips and salsa alone are addicting. Get their Steamed artichoke, the clam chowder, and the Grilled garlic prawns in Lobster Chipotle Cream sauce! Honestly everything there is delicious, especially their enchiladas! And then after that you can head up to Santa Cruz, 20 minutes north, and watch the surfers at Steamers Lane, then grab some fresh, all homemade food at “Gayle’s bakery” in Soquel. The garlic bread is made with their home baked artisan bread, then try their spinach Gorgonzola, and bbq sauce smothered grilled ribs!! There’s a cafe and bakery connected so you guys can grab a cappuccino and sit in on the live band in their dining area. It’s so bomb! I promise you guys would not be dissatisfied.
"Look at me - all fresh and organic" omg great
LOL Brian with his fork in the beginning like "man I'm hungry too I want my bite" 😂😂😂
cool episode, all the food looked great.
Great video guys! Also, wanted to shout out Chester the editor! You are definitely improving, and I appreciate how you're holding back on adding too much in terms of sound effects and pictures. I could have sworn there was a time when Tim Shiba left and there were a bunch of different editors who were adding too much, and it took away from the Fung Bros.
These guys made me realize im not a foodie. Went to portland twice this year already... Going again this weekend and ill just get some pho and wings somewhere. Its all nice too see and great to have options on street food. But solid vid brehs.
I watched this three times over last week. I head for Portland first time and the Alder Food Carts are 5-10 minutes from hotel. You did an amazing job. I see one with a Philly hat. You guys from Philly? Again thanks for great video.
Going to Portland in July definitely drooled a few times on my shirt :D
