Ultimate Kayak Catfish Rigging (NuCanoe Frontier 12)
Спорт
This is the best way I've found to rig for catfishing from a kayak, and the NuCanoe Frontier 12 is the best kayak I've found for it. Love that thing.

I'm a Jackson Koosa guy. I love it. The sling seat is a game changer. I can fish for hours and not have to get out and stretch. Takes some practice but you can stand and fish which is awesome. You have a GREAT set up there I have a Lot of the same features retried onto mine. Sweet ride dude. Love your content.
Best boat out there! Awesome set up! thanks for sharing!

So, I m about to pull the trigger on getting a Nucanoe Ultimate. I like how versatile it seems. I too do mostly catfishing, and loved your set up. If I start publishing my video, maybe you will see some of your experiences passed on.
Nice setup really like the swivel seat

Sweet setup 👍 I missed this last week Anxious to get on the water myself. Creeks are bank full down here and probably out now for awhile. We got a butt load of rain last night. Probably be fishing bottom fields for awhile. Great video 👍

I hope to run into next summer. I bought a bonafide ss127 and I plan on flathead fishing and camping along the river banks. The only problem I have right now is where to park my truck without anyone messing with it or getting towed. I also bought the FML(?) Whisker seeker 9'6" poles matched with abu 7000 c3 catfish special.

If you see me, definitely say hi! Sounds like you're set up for success. Good luck and thanks for watching!
Great video as always! Thanks for posting, I’m always looking for ideas from other folks. I’m very interested in the Flint, have you ever fished/paddled one? If so, how is the stability and comfort compared to the Frontier?
@RiverCertified
5 жыл бұрын
I paddled one last year on a pond, not a river or in any chop. I was able to stand up pretty easily. With that said, it is nowhere near as stable as the Frontier, but few kayaks are. It is a great kayak overall though. Glad you liked the video!
great set up. Id like to see a video on how you transport and move that kayak around

Glad you liked the video Pat! I actually have some stealth rod holders on the way. They have a much more compact design and I like the locking feature. I'll put them through the paces and let you know what I think.
Man I love that kayak!!! My prowler 13 is a little wobbly at times, may have to look into upgrading. Does it steer ok being a wider boat The seat on that thing looks awesome
@RiverCertified
5 жыл бұрын
It turns easily and super maneuverable. Great river boat. It doesn't track as well as your prowler but it is only 12 feet long. The seat is really comfortable, plus it's on a standard boat seat base so you can replace it if you want. Thanks for watching!
Great video. I want one so bad.

I appreciate your efforts on teaching - thanks I've never owned nor fished from a Kayak - I fish the Nishnabotna river from Stennitt Ia down to Shenandoah Ia - our river has really gone down dramatically over the yrs - to where my 10ft flat bottom boat just doesn't float as well without having ing to get out countless times to walk it to the channel of water Questions 🤔 Iowa - I would like to have a " wide " enough Kayak like you say - when I purchase my new Kayak next week 🤔 I will use only the orrs - no motor of any kind - Do I Need To Register ' Tag ' a Kayak Great KZreads Spence Thanks
