Oh wow this is what I’ve been looking for. An easy, effective and reasonably priced blind system for my 1983 conversion! In fact, my kitchen is so bitterly cold in my cottage at the sea without insulation ( built with rocks off the shore over a hundred yrs ago) I’m going to put them up there first. A warm kitchen and practice before I do the same to the van. Thank you so much for all the info. Subscribed immediately. Now to peruse your other vids. 🥳 Sheena

Wondering where you will go next with the cladding / panelling as my question is once you have fixed in these items how do you get the blind back out to re fix or renew. ...is it maybe best to build a panel initially to mount the blind/ panel fix all in one as it could well be removed by 4 screws (hidden) incase of removal or any future problems with windows etc.

Hi, apologies for late reply. I've put some info about this in the community tab. But the hoppvals are room darkening blind where as the teippvals claim to be blackout blinds. In my experience, blackout blinds are very dark but I've never tried them as a full stealth setup with no light seem from outside. The trunking I used would certainly prevent any light leaking from the sides. Maybe worth trying the trippvals on the smallest bit of glass you have and check for light leakage with a bright torch, if it worked then buying the rest would be a worthy investment. Jamie

Anyone who does that deserves to have their blinds rip. As you stated, an idiot, can't idiot proof everything 🙄
