Wearing a duty belt for decades i cant do conventional without quickly injuring the lower back near the spine. Sumo allows me to lift without lower back injuries, but does risk more cartilage issues in the knees. Saving this video to my powerlifting playlist😊

Do the bullfrog deadlift its like a hybrid. Medium stance. With hand just inside of the knees.

Great, explanation of the hook grip. I did it wrong for so long and tried the more relaxed grip and pinching my thumb the last 2 weeks training grip holds. Feels 💯 x better..

This is a great video, I watched my old videos of my sumo deadlift and i have a lot of stuff to fix to stay the least. I’ve lifted over 500lbs for multiple reps, so I’m definitely not a noob, but my triangle is absolutely huge and my hips are too high. Once i clean everything up i wonder how much closer i will be to 600 lbs😊. Thank you for the knowledge, I’ve watched hundreds of sumo deadlifts and technique videos, but yours really helped it click.
