I'm going to wear my loafers with anything whether suit,jeans,trousers chinos,etc

I definitely love loafers. If you're someone who always wears sneakers unless you have to dress up, yeah it can take a bit of courage to first try them, but once you get used to them, you're gonna get a lot of complements. And in my opinion, just by changing your go-to-shoes from sneakers to loafers, what you're really doing is you're upping your game. It really works well in most climate conditions unless it's really cold out and snowing.

It doesn't rain much here in Southern California. Most of my wardrobe is summer pieces. Although, my favorite suit is a heavy flannel. I get to wear it about once a month in the winter.

Penny loafers all day. Easily my fav shoe in general

I absolutely love my Bostonian Kiltie loafer in Burgundy with tassel. Have had them for over 10 years...

My favorite are the penny loafers, by far. I love them!!!

Great video. I love my loafers, whether they be penny, horsebit, or tassel. There's just something so appealing about effortlessly slipping them on and off. As for my favorite, I'd have to say that it's the tassel loafer. For me, it signals the wearer as someone who is/tries to be stylishly unique. And let's not forget the moccasin, the perfect blend of casual and stylish. The loafer is far more accepted in a business/work environment in tropical countries due to the hot climate.

Those belgians are gorgeous. I just ordered a pair of beige suede loafers from florsheim amd I can't wait to get them.

I like how I can select a certain time in the video to watch a particular subject. I reference your videos and this helps me get to a certain part quicker. Thanks and great background!

Penny Loafers are my favourite, very comfortable, i never really thought of them as being more casual than lace up Derby for ex, but they are definitely more versatile, you can wear with socks or with out socks, dress pants or jeans etc ..

Just bought my first pair of loafers, horsebit style. Cognac coloured, have a light suit to go with it. Third pair of suit shoes.

Penny loafers are my business casual go to for work shoes in the US. It hard to beat the comfort, ease of putting them on and functionality of them. They look good, but not overly formal. I have pairs in brown and black, so gives me a great collection of colours to work with shirts, trousers and occasionally a sports jacket. A decent pair of loafers tend to last me and I just have them resoled as needed. If I am in a more traditional place like the UK, I tend to go with something a little more formal like a Derby, due to them being more accepted. I don't particularly care for the tassels on some loafers, but that just a personal choice. I have friends who love them.

I like the horsebit with silver metal. I like the look of silver vs gold, as well as gunmetal (the color of the my frames when I was wearing glasses). The metal seems like something else you can play with when putting together an outfit.

After a lifetime of sneakers and running shoes I started my new shoe collection recently with suede penny loafers, I’m addicted now will end up with a Raphael Schneider shoe collection 😅

Very informative and entertaining video as always! Thank you. I would wear leather loafers with odd trousers and casual sportcoat with patch pockets. Only in the summer/warm climate. Without socks of course. I would not wear a suit and loafers. There's a conflict with suit signaling formal attire and loafer doing the opposite.

Haven't had a pair in more than 20 years, and then only for work, but contemplating loafters. I find the horsebits intruiging, but sense they're best with tailored slacks or perhaps slim, non-tie suit (not a problem, but not my daily chinos / jeans uniform).

For me this video brings in alot of new information to consider. My choice would definitely be the penny loafers in suede. Still indecisive about the colour though.

I love Belgian loafer. They are the most comfortable shoes I have. The only problem is, the only place you can buy them is in New York.

Yes! 100% would recommend, I recently was an organizer for an event and had to move around the venue constantly to talk to guests and check on stuff and the shoes held up pretty well.

Loafers are definitely the most versatile dress shoes you can dress em up with suits dress em down with chinos jeans and even shorts. What other dress shoe can do that? Probably not oxfords derbys monkstraps or even boots

Can you tell me what type of loafers or slip on can be use with light color jeans??

First time purchasing a loafer, purchased the Gucci Horsebit leather loafer... and finding them a little slippery since there's almost no sole on the bottom. Some friends told me to get some sole on it... what do you think? Thanks Antonio!

Is it suitable to wear loafers with jeans?

Sven classifies the tassel loafer as more formal than any other loafer given that the color and materials are the same. You say the tassel is less formal. Who is right? Is it a matter of opinion?

Bass Weejuns rule as best loafer. I've a black tassel pair.

You can wear pumps for black tie, that's formal wear. Not thinking of the shiny color and bow tie, they kind of look like each other. Are the pump a distent cousin of the loafer?
