Ultimate Glitter Napkin Technique
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
In this video I will show you how to create a fabulous, glittery background paper using napkins!
**April 2017 Update: I still receive many emails and comments about this awesome technique. However, as this video is a few years old, some of the items used on the cards are no longer available (ie: Heat and Stick Powder). I will be making another Glitter Napkin video to show you a different way to create this fun technique!**
****December 2018 Update: a video of the new quick and easy Glitter Napkin Technique can be seen here: • Ultimate Glitter Napki... and photos, details and supply list are posted on my December 15, 2018 blog post: www.serenestamper.com/2018/12/...
In this video there are also some tips for tying the perfect knot, cleaning your clear blocks so your stamps never fall off and and more! To view the list of supplies used, go to the March 25, 2013 blog post at www.serenestamper.com.
For information on upcoming classes, events and to shop online go to www.serenestamper.stampinup.net . Thanks for watching and HAPPY STAMPING!

I love it that you said waste not want not, our parents told us this all the time. I got a sign from Dollar Tree and painted it and used some glitter letters and made me a sign I hung in my craft room.
First, thank you for the calm music in the BACKGROUND. Drives me crazy to watch a video that has crazy music. ugh. Second, thanks for such an awesome video on this technique!!

Ladette Kerr Hi Ladette. Thank you for your kind comments. I'm glad you enjoyed my video! HAPPY STAMPING!
Just lovely. Will look for pretty napkins like you have. Thanks!
Wow, will certainly have to give this a try!
It's interesting how 'the beat goes on' with these craft videos...i.e. still grabbing viewers (like me and a friend who gave me this link) 2 years later!! Thanks for sharing this technique. It reminded me of another similar technique using a dryer sheet and the embossing powder. Have to agree with another comment made about your background music.....wonderful relaxing sounds! Will be following your Blog
super cute ! and I LOVE seeing how you stored your dies !
Wow! I can't wait to use this technique. I have lots of napkins.
Amazing! I have a million beautiful napkins with prints that I was about to throw away. not any more. I just have to get me some heat and stick powder. I LOVE this technique. TFS
I remember those kind of cards when I was a kid and I was fascinated them. And now I can make my own! Absolutely beautiful!!
So many great tips and techniques! Thank you. Lovely cards too, and you made it look easy.
Stunning!!!!
Thanks Julie! HAPPY STAMPING!
GORGEOUS!!!!!!! LOVE, love, love, LOVE this! And you are a fabulous teacher. Did one last year and the result was breath taking. Nobody could believe it was from a napkin, it felt like fabric against the double sided wide tape I used. But I absolutely am in love with the diamond heat embossing you used. Gorgeous !
Thank you Tina, I am so glad that I found this! I will be checking back with you often! Blessings, Lee

So pretty! Thank you for your video. I know someone who does the napkin transfers, but had no idea how it was done. Also, introducing me to two powders that I have never had an opportunity to use. I suddenly have all kinds of inspiration; can't wait to try.

I had forgotten about napkins, thanks for reminding me! I love your technique! I used decorative Christmas poinsettia napkins to decoupage around a hat box, laid a ribbon on the bottom, used dimensional paints on the lid to draw holly leaves. The box was filled with the present inside and was itself part of the gift. Napkins are a cheap alternative to tissue paper sometimes. Thanks again, I'll go look for some now!

Wow, Robin, your hat box sounds amazing!!!! I have no doubt the person who received your gift was absolutely delighted! Thanks for sharing!
That was a very interesting. Thank you so much for sharing. I really enjoyed it.
Very beautiful card I like the technique thank you
Tina, I loved your video and your technique all wrapped up in less than a 20 minute video. I had saved another video with the heat and stick and how to use it with the napkins but, I will delete that one because your video is 100% better. You get right to the point and do not shuffle your materials back and forth and your camera is not shaky like other's are. Your nails look great - I could never do a video with my nails. I like your voice and your instructions are great. I cannot sleep and I have had napkin cards on my mind so got up to go to KZread and I am happy I did. Thank you very much. Sincerely, Rebekah in Alexandria City, VA

Hello Rebekah - thanks so much for your comments - I really appreciate it! xx
Thank for a great video. Love your idea of our sticky pages. Ive been using our glue stick and then smoothing it out by running it through the big shot. Just wanted to share that I use the iridescent ice embossing powder instead of the dazzling diamonds.
So Beautiful! Thanks for sharing!
It's great!!! A wonderful idea! Thanks a lot!!

serenestamperchannel Yes I did - a little messy the first time around, but it was fun. I'm looking at napkins in a whole new light now.
I'm definitely going to give this a try ty for sharing
Lovely idea but as I don't have any adhesive sheets I will use the cling film and iron method to stick the napkin on the card instead. The finished result looks the same. Debby Milinazzo may find this a useful idea, ( there was no reply to tick on her comment.) I also use sheets of 80gsm paper and it works very well.
Very pretty!
Looks pretty cool . I'm going to try it out.
