For sure, me too. To me it's because you have to have genuine automotive passion, an incredible, otherworldly number of master-level skills and a great team (and lots of money, of course) to be able to pull something like this off. This is my dream car manifest, truly. Especially because I used to have a 1 series (2016 F20 M135i LCI) and loved it to bits, I still miss that car dearly and liked it more than my current 3-series (sorry babe). This is several levels above that M135i still, truly dream car material

The level of quality and amount of work that has gone in to this build is just incredible. It looks amazing, congrats and respect to the owner and everyone involved in this build.

What an amazing build, taking OEM+ to a whole new level! Thank you Shmee for showing the world this gem, and thank you Saugmotoren for creating such a gem.

This is one of the first videos in awhile that I was engaged for the entire length! Even though this is a one off, I think I found my new dream car and something that will leave me thinking and dreaming for a long time. Thank you for sharing this Tim and I hope you one day have a very special project such as this one!

Absolutely amazing project piece. In NA we're already deprived of the 1 series hatches, to see a custom made 1 series hatch M care makes me extremely envious. That is just too awesome.

This is an absolute gorgeous beast of a project! Just can't beat having a personal one off car! Adore this so much! And that sound... those revs... an absolute delight!!!

Insane car ! The only things I would change are the exhaust tips (bigger ones that fill the diffuser the right amount) and the engine (carbon intake and a 4.4l stroker), beside that, just perfect !😍😍

These guys at saugmotoren have an insane collection but this bmw 116i project is next level. Nothing else on earth this extreme. Almost all bmw model features on this one car.

Crazy to see this car on this channel! I found him while looking for inspiration/info about the s65b40 v8 swap into the e81 body, that's my project, also as the 'ultimate' daily, but I'm aware that the fit and finish of this F21 is on another level, I am only doing the e9x mechanical and electronic bits, no crazy interior or body.

This an amazing project.

I normally hate Frankenstein and swap projects like this. But this one, for the first time i love. Tastefully and logically done, like something BMW should have done. And all IEM parts!!! Love it! Congrats to the builder.
