30A is the best spot in the state for easy access and comfortable vibe. We love living here and it is a great place for my business to do well. The people here are so friendly and the weather, nature, and wildlife is great.

If we wanted to visit, which is the most quiet beach, least busy?

We visited Rosemary Beach while staying in Panama City Beach about 15 years ago. I couldn’t believe how much more elegant it was. Coming from the Midwest people here don’t think of the Florida panhandle as a destination which it certainly is. I love your videos. They move at exactly the right speed for me.

The panhandle is I think the prettiest part of Fla After living in south Gla for 25 years we moved to the mountains of North Georgia I want to return to fla but only panhandle or west coast of fla

A very good, informative video. So pretty too. It is hard to decide which 30A beaches to visit in 1 or 2 days. 🤗 You did great by telling us which beaches are public access, and which are private access. 🕊️ I live in north FL, and soon visit a few 30A areas for a weekend.

Thank you for the trip along route 30a. We have a house in the area but never stayed there there long enough to visit all those nice places you talked about. BTW, you forgot to mention Gulfview Heights beach access in Santa Rosa Beach which is our favorite but only with few parking spots and Dune Allen on the very western end.

Before the end of the 1970's, Destin was amazing - just beautiful! We used to spend summers there. Now, it's a city with a beach. Have zero desire to return.

Haven't been in years. Sept and October were months I liked because there were no crowds. If I wanted to suntan, there was a nice breeze coming off of the Gulf.

I am have seen them in town, like seaside and watercolor but you might need to check if they are allowed between towns. I think its a great idea though!! Have a great unforgettable trip and make lots of memories!!

So you know, 30Avenue is in Inlet Beach, not Rosemary Beach. Inlet Beach stretches behind Rosemary Beach. Inlet Beach, being the inlet, has the Gulf on one side with the inlet opening to Lake Powell on the other side of it.

Hi Vicki! Thanks 😊 this area is only about 1.5 hrs away, so I don't stay overnight unless I'm visiting someone at Sandestin Resort nearby. I wish I could help answer that one for you. Most seasonal things are just starting to open up. Lots stay open all year in that area, and more so Panama City Beach and Destin are both very close to all of 30A. I love February. it's one of my favorite times of year. It mostly feels warm but not hot. Have a great visit!!

How far and how much time would it take to get from the hub to the dunes public beach by golf cart? Is it walking distance?

Its not too far by golf cart walk would probably a bit much especially if hot. Looks like 44 min walk, like 15 min golf cart, I liked that beach too 😃

Any recommendation to visit beach with 4 children ? Would like to stay at a modest beachfront hotel, if possible.

Hi Perucho! There are mostly rentals along 30A but maybe check out Panama City Beach which is right off of 30A, Ive stayed there but cannot rememner the name so just read the reviews, because there are so many hotels and resorts you should be able to find something reasonable. I actually love SanDestin Golf and Beach Resort too near Destin it has everything including pools and beach access, shops, restaurants and lovely grounds but busy season can be higher priced and harder to find a place to rent, some have minimum stays, but it's probably where I would stay over in that area, off season is much more reasonable and the weather is lovely! Hope you have a great trip!

Once you go to 30A you won't go anywhere else. I hate PC and I hate Destin. SRB (Santa Rosa Beach) is AWESOME !!!!! No 30 floor condos, no chain restaurants, no party places and nothing but Great Local Restaurants. If you like laid back, taking it easy and just hanging at the beach then 30A is the place for you. One of the be things about 30A is that it has a variety of little communities that can fit anyone. There are communities that I don't particularly care for, because that's just not my kind of place to hang. However I can guarantee that you can find one that fits you. The one common thing about 30A is that no matter where you choose to stay, all of us can share in the awesome beach with sugar white sandy beaches.

30A used to be a hidden Gem. It’s soo touristy now to the point where it takes an hr to drive from one end of the beach to the other. 😢

March is spring break for the most part , then summer is so busy June to August. I like going over there October-Novemeber or April-May because not too busy and weather is still lovely.

Hi Jeff! This whole area is Santa Rosa Beach, the beaches along 30A call their own beaches something different, and the lines are blurry when you view that all on the map, but they are all great!

Great video, but 30A is a STATE route, not a county road. It's important to know at whom to be mad when a bridge is closed for repair!

I detoured along 30A on my way to Orlando back in November in order to explore the section between Alys Beach and Rosemary Beach and find a worthy restaurant at which to enjoy a leisurely lunch but was forced to detour (due to the bridge repairs at Little Redfish Lake) before I even got as far as Seaside. Since I live about 690 miles from Walton County by road, I was a "bit" perturbed with the Florida DOT. I'm still fond of Walton County, though. 🙂

Seaside was public up until recently; they got greedy. I avoid 30A now as public beaches have same sand and water and I can take own tent/umbrella. These places got greedy!!

I was able to take some video from the gates or asked if I could go get a picture that I wasn't planning on swimming. There are some public beach accesses. Definitely lots of beaches with this water even towards Destin. Fort Walton. Navarre, and Pensacola Beach. It is sad they changed that though on 30A

@@GulfCoastGirl still some small slices public on 30A (south walton has about 100 feet of access and security to make sure no one steps over the line (I find it funny but not worth the trip); Santa Clara still public but I envision it's similar to South Walton (just East of Seaside). seaside now charges $15 just to park in their village now which is crazy. No golf carts allowed in Rosemary and Alys (we discovered this as we drove ours through there!!). You ever review any of the camp grounds in area? Camp Gulf in Miramar Beach for example? Camp Helen State Park?
