Ukulele Play Along - Tutorial for Minimalistic Vibes

Музыка

This video is another ukulele tutorial I made to guide you in learning how to play relaxing music in a very simple way. This video is a trial at making tutorial easier to follow for people of every level. I’ve tried incorporating a lot of visuals and dynamic elements in order to help you understand and play one of my favorite progression to play on the ukulele. This song is a very minimalistic approach to playing ukulele and in my opinion, what makes this instrument truly shine.
I hope you have a good time learning and practicing, that you enjoy this video as much as I did creating :)
It was recorder in a danish forest and my fingers were freezing, yet again, not the first time nor the last.

FEEDBACK TIME! I know the struggle of learning the ukulele, but I also know how rewarding it can be to someone’s life. I want to attract more and more people to learn this beautiful instrument and express their feelings with it. GOOD NEWS: I have a TON of IDEAS to make that possible. BAD NEWS: Because this is very new on KZread, I still don’t have enough views to get clear feedback from the viewers. HOW TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE? 1. Leave a few words in the comments about where you currently are in your ukulele journey, what little struggles are currently holding you back, and even more importantly, how’s the weather outside for you ☀️🌧️? 2. Receive some of my gratitude! Thank you!

I love this way of playing... its more aoulful than strumming away at old meaninglass songs although that can be fun sometimes with others.. i love the quiet simplicity. Thank you

Where did you get the fretboard visualizer for your video?

Great question! I designed everything myself, I wish there was a « visualizer » but these things don’t exist (yet). I imagined a graphic design I would have liked to have on my own learning journey and made it real. It’s only a beta version and will probably change in my next video projects to find a balance between hours of editing and the enjoyment of people, I’m simply waiting for more feedback and I’ll adjust accordingly :)

Yes everything’s at the end during the play along. There is still something interesting to be said on the chords. All of them are “incomplete” and have open strings, these are not the standard way of playing them but it’s also why they sound amazing. The idea is to let as many open strings as possible. Having just a few notes changing throughout, is what’s creating this relaxing sense of stability/peace I’m right now working on new graphics to explain this concept :)
