I disagree with that last statement about "as you can see, fighting in trenches, isn't always fighting". That man, sculpting in the dirt, is fighting panic, anxiety, boredom, loss, hunger, pain, whatever. These outlets of creativity are the mind and soul's way of fighting. Warriors are never the same in and after battle. It's amazing the coping mechanisms. Thank you for your reporting though, appreciate your support of Ukraine!

You're right about that. There are some amazing works of art created by soldiers in WW1 on both sides using whatever was available to carve ornate cigarette cases and more. 90% boredom punctuated by 10% sheer panic and combat.

I almost feel like his statement, "As you can see, fighting in trenches isn't always fighting." likely means what you are saying. His inflection does suggest not, but the sentences itself comes across to me just as you said it when I heard it. I could be instilling my own take on it though. But I appreciate you stating it clearly, as gut wrenching as it is.

@@lilacscentedfushias1852 I am a Ukrainian girl living in Mariupol. After joining Russia, it became safe to walk in our city even alone at night, food, electricity and gas fell in price several times, now we have free medical care and the opportunity to get any education for free, I connected myself to a fast unlimited Russian Internet, I watch sincere and kind Soviet feature films on the Internet, Russian the Internet is very fast, besides unlimited, I have it working around the clock, I pay 700 rubles a month for it, which is about $ 11. Now do you understand why an average of 90% of Ukrainians voted for returning to Russia in four regions of Ukraine? Soon the Russians will liberate my entire Ukraine from the junta militants, and Russia, the largest country in the world, will become even bigger. Such backward totalitarian state entities as the USA and the EU will not be able to prevent Russia from becoming a world leader. The time of Western domination has passed and will not return, the centers of world decision-making will move to Russia and East Asia. Jackals of the West, your time has passed. Russia, go ahead! 🇷🇺 ❤️

Yes, this weapon is effective, but ergonomically a disaster. The buttstock would need to be at least twice as wide to distribute the recoil force over a larger area. If you have to shoot this gun all day, by the end of the day your shoulder will be green and blue.

@@gchampi2 This doesn't just apply to guns. Necessary improvements only become apparent when an article is used. Whether it's a gun, a car, a washing machine, whatever. That's why I never buy something completely new that has just come onto the market. Weapons in a war are a bit different, as a defender you need them more than a consum article, no matter how uncomfortable they are. However, I suspect that this weapon will be improved in the future.

Thank you TVP World for showing another interesting facet of the war. You guys are awesome! 🙏👍The sculptor and the fact that he sculpted those faces in the trenches that are in the middle of a war zone in the last clip is nothing but amazing! The process of his creation for him is a form of meditation and resurgence. It takes him away from the war. The result of his work is a form of joy and warm reception for others. Both the creator and the viewer can definitely benefit from these sculptures being in the trenches with them because it is cathartic for the mind. His art brings life and consoling energy to his fellow service men and his surroundings, which other wise can be dreadful. Respect to this warrior for not letting the drudgery of war deter him from expressing his creativity. I guess this is another face of the Ukrainian unrelenting spirit. My respect for Ukrainians has just gone up another notch! Slava Ukraine! Heroiam Slava!! 💙💛💪
