Ukrainian Tank Commander Recounts 'Three-Day Shoot-Out' To Liberate Donetsk Villages
A Ukrainian tank unit played a key role in a recent counteroffensive operation that managed to recapture several villages in the Donetsk region. The tank crew claims to have advanced more than 6 kilometers along the Mokri Yaly River in the hotly contested region.

@@TheKenji2221 The present continuous of the verb "lose" is "losing", with one letter o. Also, the plural form of the noun "loss" is "losses". Try to get it right and you'll appear educated.

Brave guys. It's going to be a tough slog. The neo-Soviets have had months to set up multiple defense perimeters from their front lines in the North all the way back toward the northern border of the Crimea in the south, with key roads and villages already marked from defensive positions and artillery. This is why the Ukrainians need air cover if they're going to have any hope of mounting a blitzkrieg-like advance. Their offensive from last August/September was so effective because the neo-Soviets were thoroughly unprepared. One thing about Soviet military doctrine is that they learn from their huge mistakes and adapt accordingly.

Brave men. Was anything done before and during the tank attack to surpress enemy fire towards the tank? If not a tank is as sitting duck and losses will mount for tanks and crew. Also taking into account the current issues with Mines and russian helicopters.... Ukraine badly needs more artillery, anti aircraft batteries for medium and long range as well as fighter jets.
