How do you know that? In the negotiations in Turkey and on the Moldovan border last year Russian was insisting that they keep the parts of Ukraine they had taken at that time - they still insist on this. Ukraine refuses to give up its sovereignty and its territory, even for peace. Russian cannot be trusted - they want to colonise Ukraine.

The West prolongs a war that should have ended a year ago with a peace deal; this is their doing. Interfering in a foreign territorial conflict is one thing (all great powers do so), but actively prolonging it beyond all reason and compassion is why I blame the West, and Ukraine’s heartless leaders. Mark my words, the war will end after an entire generation is slaughtered; and the very same ‘peace’ deal that was proposed a year ago, or could be agreed even today, will finally be agreed. Any death from now to then will serve no purpose, asides from weakening Russia and serving Western interests, at the cost of Ukraine.

WSJ is describing Zelenskyy mobilization in this way: "Mr. Zelensky in January introduced even harsher punishment for desertion and disobedience. A disabled person was drafted in western Ukraine and pronounced fit for service despite having no hands. Another died on the front lines within a month of mobilization after 10 days of training, according to his relatives." Zelenskyy is officially catching and forced conscripting even disabled (not only army recruiters, but also police, border police, secret police and even municipal authorities are officially hunting for hapless cannon fodder leaving desperate people no chance to escape Zelenskyy goons). When such people are in the trenches let alone forced to go on the offensive, it's a recipe for disaster. They simply refuse to fight and surrender at the first opportunity.

The country as a whole voted to leave the USSR when they had the chance; 83% in favour in the Donbas, and 56% in the Crimea, those areas of 'ethnic Russians' that are supposed to be clamouring to rejoin the Motherland. 200,000 Russian soldiers killed is so grossly exaggerated.The Russian army has maximum lost close to 40 k and another 20-30 k for Wagner. Ukrainian losses are close to 150-170 k dead ( probably more tbh) and another 100,000 wounded.

Well it's quite simple: Ukraine did not and is not commiting a genocide. It's one of the originial and worst Russian lies. Like every Russian lie it also contradicts the other ones it has told: Ukraine is basically all Russian, but also somehow commiting genocide against Russians.

Surely peace is the only way forward. Lives could be saved.

Usa and Eng are the blame.

What are you on about? NATO is many times stronger than Russia....The Russian economy is about the same size as the economy of Italy, so we can keep supporting far longer than Russia can. There live about 165 million in Russia. In NATO Europe there live more than 500 million. Nato firepower is far superior to Russia so my friend it is Putin who started a war he cannot win... the sooner the Russian people realize this the better for all of us

Geo-political game of " RISK", you should listen to Victoria Nuland's infamous voice recording a few times carefully! Why was 2 US goverment officials, disgussing who to install in the Ukranian goverment? History of the CIA worked over south america really good, now in this case it seems to be backfiring. Why was the peace agreement presented in Türkie rejected after Boris Johnson visited Kiev ?
