Arrest for what? What charge? Arresting people for no reason only happens in Russia, not Ukraine.

After Ukraine violated the first Minsk agreement and then the second Minsk agreement and then admitting they were only buying time. And then after again tearing up the agreements made in Turkey, I think Russia has very good reasons not to trust the Ukranians and their puppet masters in the west. Peace will only be achieved on Russia's terms. Next up Kharkiv.

And did Russia and Putin comply with the Rome agreement in 2002 to respect international borders, including Putin actually stating that Russia would respect Ukraine as a sovereign state with its borders? Did Russia abide by these agreements? And Russia as a permanent member of the UN Security Council is bound by the UN Charter to respect internationally agreed borders. Wanting to join NATO is not why they were invaded. Listen to Putin’s invasion speech. He specifically says he wants the “demilitarization and denazification” of Ukraine. As there weren’t and aren’t Nazis in power in Ukraine, the second goal is not achievable. The first goal is, but the exact opposite has happened. Ukraine is more militarized than ever, thanks to the West. Putin can achieve the first goal by merely withdrawing.

What a weird concept. You cannot "pay" for annexation of territory by "spilling blood". The annexation of Crimea, Luhansk etc. is and has always been illegal. International law is very clear about that. Some of the territories Putin declared to be Russian are not even under control of the Russian invasion army, the only blood spilled in Zaporizhzhia and other cities and regions is that of Ukrainian citizens killed by Russian bombs.

The only senseless leadership is in Russia. Zelensky was only defending himself. Afterall self preservation is the first law of nature. U need not justify with reasons to save oneself, those wrong are invaders of Ukraine. We mustn't forgive them.

Great initial step but sadly after 500 B looses. The questions to ask are 1.) How would Russia and Ukraine look if they had spend that 500 B towards their own countries welfare ? 2.) Why no two neighboring countries have friendly ties (issues are territory, religion, need superiority) ? 3.) When will humanity start thinking that all should survive and help & love others ? Wars against terrorism is acceptable but war between countries is stupidity at the highest level. NATO is a US strategy to sell arms and also to reduce/share their defense spending. Intelligently NATO did not include Ukraine as a member during this war as they had to start fighting immediately and sadly this was not understood by Ukraine. Support to Taiwan & Pakistan by the US is for territorial power to keep China in their view. USA's friendship with Saudi and wars by the US in Libya, Iran, Iraq are for oil but surprisingly no one will sanction US. EU still buys lot of oil and gas from Russia as they need it for their own domestic consumption but sanctions Russia on all the other products that they have alternative sources. So double standards by the US, EU and religious fanatics madness is crippling the world economy and making the world unsafe.

Both sides are suffering... war is hell 😢

Zelensky is acting like he won the war

Not a hope in hell of Russia accepting any terms except thier own and that is exactly the same as from day one. Ukraine has to be neutral and be of no further threat to Russia, they also want the Nazi's removed from power, if this does not happen Russia will continue wearing down Ukraine forces until they reach Kiev and beyond as far as the Polish border if necessary. They have no intention of facing a rematch in a few years time.

You are spreading Putin´s lies here. 1. Ukraine has never been a threat to Russia. Ukraine is only a threat to Putin´s imperialistic dreams where Kiev is a Russian city. In fact Ukraine has ceded all her nuclear weapons to Russia in the 1990ies, in exchange for Russia promising to respect and protect Ukrainian full sovereignity and territorial integrity. 2. Other than Russia, Ukraine has a government that is legitimized by free, fair, democratic elections. There are no Nazis in power in Kiev, this is ridiculous. Zelensky himself is Jewish with Russian mother tongue. If Putin would actually want to fight Nazism he could have done so at home. Instead he funded the Wagner group which was founded by Dmitri Utkin who adored Hitler and had Nazi symbols tatooed on his body.

Zelensky Is losing the war, and can’t dictate terms in this conflict. He should have asked what will the Russians accept.

The clown Zelensky has no choice. There will be no agreement as long as he pursues NATO membership. Russia needs written agreement on not joining

I feel this war will end so bad for Ukraine and Ukraine will be split into two countries West Ukraine and East Ukraine. What is in for Russia to waste money and sacrifice men to win a land then give it back while losing its foreign assets due to sanctions. I don’t think Ukraine can negotiate anything here, it will be a negotiation between US and Russia. Mostly, it would end with Russia getting what it has occupied so far with some sanctions lifted and US companies will rebuild West Ukraine with US aid which is basically printed dollars.

Zelensky is very young to tell Putin how peace deal will look like 😢 if Ukraine finally adhere to Russia's terms, it will be pointless to have fought such a long war with so many casualties

Ukraine will have no choice. Any peace plan that would be acceptable to Russia would include the inclusion of Odessa as a Russian oblast along with other areas, a demilitarize zone which, depending on what hardware sent by the west, could very well be in excess of 50 km, a guarantee of no NATO membership. I really do not expect Zelensky to be around in another 6 months.

That is not peace talk ; that is telling Russians to stop war and go home without addressing root cause of conflicts and that is NATO expansion.

The one who is promoting NATO expansion is Putin. All countries close to Russia want to be in NATO now as an insurance against Russian aggression. The latest achievements of Putin´s NATO promotion tour is Finland and Sweden joining NATO. Please note that Sweden has been neutral for 200 (two hundred) years. But seeing what Putin´s Russia is doing (war against Georgia in 2008, annexation of Crimea in 2014, covered war in Donbass since 2014, and now full scale invasion and war against Ukraine) they changed their mind.

Russia will not accept that proposal, and rightfully so. If I listened correctly, there's nothing in the proposal which touches on the very source of the war. The war started when the greedy NATO wanted to swallow Ukraine to get closer to Russia, Ukraine must vow not to join NATO if they want to see the end of the war. 🤷‍♂️ The proposal is not aimed at ending the war. The proposal is aimed at manipulating the UN to intervene and force Russia to back off, or maybe to justify the intervention of NATO in the war.🤷‍♂️

This was never about NATO. Pootin planned the invasion of Georgia in 1999 (while he was PM) and the invasion of Ukraine no later than 2003. At this time Pootin himself was trying to get russia into NATO. russia's war is not about NATO. It is partly about the EU, but has only been that since 2013, not before. Invading and conquering Ukraine was planned over 20 years ago.

He still believes Donbas will be a part of Ukraine, comedian should have made this deal before loosing so much.
