@E L Δ T E Yeah you're right. My military application was denied. I tried to join the US military but they denied due to an outdated medical statute so they screwed up. Now I'm trying to see what else I can do to help if not military.

I find it awesome how a bunch of guys from military can get together and work well as a team in combat and was wondering with communication being 100% needing to be on spot at all times eg one misheard suggestion could cost many people their lives it’s amazing the language of War and hand signals and how affective they are. Keep it up and we will be celebrating when this is all over.

Hey bro I just found your channel, and your content is amazing. I’m not military, but I have had a long fascination with war- why it’s fought, and the different tactics used over the centuries. My grandfather got a Purple Heart in Guadalcanal in WW2, where not many people he was with came home (he was a mortar guy). I’ve been following Ukraine pretty carefully, and am definitely going to binge watch your stuff. Getting into the mind of a soldier is something the average person can’t comprehend, so I appreciate you giving us this glimpse… Much respect, all the best, and thank you for what you do 🤜🤛

They make a insolated bag with clear top that fits drone controller and monitor, that has sleeves sewn on the sides to insert your hands and hand warmers. You can make one your self with clear plastic and a insolated lunch box. Just cut some sleeves off, sew them to the cooler and sew and hot glue clear plastic to cooler lid, cut holes for sleeves. Good to keep your batteries war through winter use, keeps them batteries clean.

This really shows you how much improvement a "military" version of the drone could have just in the UI alone. Having to go into a menu, to activate a light, to drop a nade. Having to be subject to civilian flight height restrictions. I wonder if it's possible to attach a small, light .22 pistol to it, so you could fly next to other small drones and shoot them down. (I don't imagine it would be powerful/precise enough to attack people - other drones however...)

Third party apps can be used with such drones…all it would take is a specific purpose-built Ui.

Dropping or towing a lightweight monofilament net, or several strands thereof, would probably be a more effective way of downing other drones.

@@TheInflicted Dutch police tried training eagles to hunt drones... they stopped since it was 'more complicated and expensive as expected'. I am pretty sure most current anti drone weapons consists of pressure launched netting. Like the strains of filament it can disrupt individual rotors and render the drone uncontrollable. I don't think it's a feasible tactic to use monofilament strands since due to their lack of weight they will be uncontrollable due to wind speed relative to the drone. Unless you weigh each strand down at the end. In which case your gains over plain netting are zero and you're better off using netting.
A lot of us wish we could help but have no military or medical experience. Or money. Stay safe, god bless the Ukrainian people

Unfortunately, he was killed back in March. His name was Kane Te Tai, if you're interested in looking him up. Kane served in New Zealand’s army for almost a decade and was known to protect his community and the underdog, which lead him to volunteer in Ukraine. God rest his soul.

small fix for you there. the AK that you gifted the rail to, well its an AKS-74U. the S is for the stock, AKS-74 was the first AKS and it was made with foldable stock that was originally from metal. And the U means that it has shorter barrel(from 415mm lenght of barell to 210mm) but you got that right, the place of the letters was just off and i wanted to tell you that cuz iam a big lover for guns and i cant just leave it like that! (tbh i think that iam a bit too much of a lover for guns at age of 16). wish you the best and to all the soldiers that are fighting for freedom of this country🇺🇦

I have read an article that puts the origin of drone usage back to a Silicon Valley father wanting to spend quality time with his son doing something beside more computer screen time or video gaming. From what I recall they originated the 3D printing of aerodynamics for munition drops as well. If I find that article I’ll post a link.

Definitely looks like an on the ground remote scarab gopro maybe with 6 wheels, would be helpful in checking for crocs in some buildings in the future, hopefully with a good wireless connection like khepri, and will probably feel a little better putting more expensive optics on some vehicles anyway.
