我在英國工作兩年多，最看不慣就是target/completion oriented的做事方式，因為有超過九成的結果都是要重頭再做。原因是英國人在大多數情況都是不求甚解地把表面弄得好像完成了，但背後的結構&原理錯漏百出，浪費人力資源成本

同感！我觉得不是注重过程还是结果地问题，是只看表面还是重视实质的问题。我的体会是，对过程形式符合有一堆policy，SOP（很多时候远非唯一正确高效的方式）要求符合，但却对是否真的有效果真的对结果有帮助毫不在意。 只要表面形式符合，而且一定要求符合，不管实质如何。极其反感这一点。不知道是因为行业field的原因，还是国家普遍的工作风气

I've been working for a financial company in Canada for many years and I must say the office culture in England is very much the same as here and the US. Very informative video and highly recommended.

Thank you for this video! After working in UK for over 17 years. This video can still teach me valuable things. And good for your sister! What her manager said is shocking and not the British working culture I know of.

Love your content. Suggestion for 16:40. 'Does anyone have any concerns?' and 'Are there any...' usually invite a 'yes or no' answer, those not inclined to speak usually won't respond. Although well intended, will mostly get head shakes all around (depending on the workplace culture of course).

Very useful video! Work culture varies hugely between organisations though. Government funded organisations in particular (eg.NHS), could be incredibly bureaucratic.

Beside with flexibility , creativity from each individual in a business organization are foremost. Any open minded management team should find a way to bring along the potential and creativities with all their staff .Without a doubt , It helps the company to growth by doing so .

I would say it is not the matter of result orientated nor complying with the procedure but their careless and negligence when working. They can repeat doing wrong on simple things, for example your name, your address etc.

其实东亚人善于所谓「阳奉阴违」，表面遵循程序和权威，私底也会有很多智慧去干预上司。很多大公司明面程序一套，实际程序是另一套，比英国要复杂很多。即便在以刻板工作著称的日本也是如此，所以会出现最近日本车企质检作弊门类似的状况
