He failed to mention that UK and France have 5 wins each in Eurovision Song Contest, though both have diminished performance in 21st century. UK has shown more aggression with such titles as "Boom-Bang-a-Bang" albeit in a tied result. Difficult outcome to predict now with social distancing and no (French) kissing.

Well, the series of wars between France, and England/United Kingdom had been the longest-lasting conflict in World History (between two existing countries, anyway). The first time the king of France, and the king of England went to war against each other, had been in the 1100s (the conflict between king Louis le Gros of France, and his more powerful feudal vassal, king Henri Beauclerc of England); and the last time France, and the United Kingdom went to war against each other, was in the 1800s (the war between emperor Napoléon Bonaparte of France, and the United Kingdom).

While France is completely self-sufficient, be it food, armament and so on.

If you are fighting in a full on war with an opponent a few miles away it doesn't make sense to go after the far away overseas territories unless you are in a position of extreme disadvantage. The point of the overseas territories is to use as a staging area against far away enemies. In this war the enemy will likely concentrate on lone ships and lone bases which are closer. If I were France I would be using Spec ops and strike forces for attacking radar sites, ports and lone ships in Wales and Scotland and maybe Northern Ireland to force the English to move troops to different parts of the islands and to stretch them out. Then I would use my large forces in large decisive engagements.

Something crucial missed regarding the air War in the beginning... the UK has the Type 45 Destroyer, 6 of them. Only 1 can down an entire airwing in a matter of minutes! It can fire 8 missiles in less than 10 seconds, guide double that simultaneously which means no aircraft comes close to being able to approach the UK mainland. In addition, the home port of the Royal Navy is right in the middle of the English Channel, meaning the Type 45s can operate from home in relative safety. The UK has a superior Submarines and are elite when it comes to anti-submarine Warfare, therefore the sea war would go to the UK there as well, thus pinning the French in place.

2:39 In conclusion, the Eurofighter is capable on paper of being able to point its nose much more quickly in the desired direction. As for the Rafale, is able to evolve longer with a higher angle of attack, and a lower speed. This conclusion could become a fact when we see the results of the various confrontations where the Rafale had to face the Eurofighter, where the latter systematically seems to be struggling during combat simulations in BFM. The lack of vectorial thrust planned at the start is lacking here. But its absence is even more problematic in another area, and it is not impossible that it is on the agenda of a future evolution of the device. Exit the euro-fighter and Iron (f-35). Sky is for us, care your ships.

The big deciding factor is the timing of the initial aggression and who declare war first, if france want's to fight the UK it will start to mass it's ship and artillery near the UK and will target it's harbor full of warship and it's airbase as soon as the war is declared with no time to even be on alert in UK side and on the other hand if britain declare war first it will have done the same. The initial aggression is the key factor in who will win with one side prepared to wage a war with it's assets well placed and the other in confusion of why the other side is attacking them and with not every ship and plane ready to fight as they might be in maintenance.
