'In the UK you have the left, middle left and far left....'. You don't know what you are talking about. Our politics are left or right of centre. There is no far left. The Conservative party is the one that hardened its position over the years to the point where cruelty became the badge of honour.
Most of Europe turned Populist right (good) the UK went hard left,they will pay for that with higher taxes and immigration.
The Tories have been consigned to oblivion where it belongs.
