On Koh Phangan at the moment and can relate to the prices. Some cheap some expensive. Did a tour to 7/11 the other day. 486 baht for 4 cheese/ham sandwich. 2 croissant. 1 liter of water. 2 coke zero. Pack of plastic cups. A chocolate dessert.2 large Chang beer. 2 ice tea and 1 Schweppes tonic. That's like 11 pounds or so. Daaaamn cheap. On the other hand i couldn't even get a bottle of Peter vella redwine for the same price 😂 and got the best Burgers on koh Phangan in a long time. Best i had in all my travels in Thailand. At burger shack in haad rin. Love Koh Phangan btw and watched your recent series from there ❤

Great stuff. A bottle of water in England around £1... In Thailand it's 3 baht for same size bottle so just over 6 pence 🤣 in holsale shop or 7 baht in 7/eleven

Wow that Whopper is expensive. In Oz, they are $6.90 (GPB3.55).

Way too expensive there in England even by Aussie comparisons and it is by no means inexpensive here either. One pound sterling buys currently AUD1.95 so 1 pound 49 pence a litre for fuel there in England and its only and I say ONLY AUD1.75 here in Australia per litre at the moment but does rise as high as AUD2.05 before dropping back again gradually. I thought we had it bad mate and prices there in England are even worse by a big margin. S E Asia is totally the place to be for cheap living. Loved that band outside of Lloyds bank. They were awesome. Great work buddy 🤩 Love the glasses you are wearing there buddy. A quick fix needed before you travel I guess 😂

Hard to beat price vs quality in Thailand except imported products are way more expensive.

I wet shave daily using shaving brush & Johnson's baby soap..lathers well & gives a nice close shave..soap lasts me months and cheap as.. Much cheaper than that burger! Couldn't believe the cost of the phones..why would anyone pay that much..like you I have a phone which is several years old...no problem with it and does the job perfectly.. You can have your football I'll stick to cricket thankyou..enjoyed the Ashes.. Hope it was a good journey.. All the best Sean...take care and looking forward to your travels..🍺🍺

And as for good steak in Thailand, to date have not found, even to the point I would rather not spend my money. But in Gullivers Soi 5, Sukhumvit I have had a very good pastry pie. And I will sample same when there later this year.

Its very difficult and expensive to get a good steak in Thailand but I love sea food so when I land in Bangkok the first thing I like to eat is sea food salad with the glass noodles prawns 🌶️ ect with a few Leo's to wash it down, sweet im looking forward to going back the only thing I don't like is the flight 😅

Go super rich exchange your get better rates, 1 Rajdmari road lumpini patuwan.. They love crisp 50 pound notes

I did such a prise comparison in mid 90' India vs Europe and it turn out to be 13 times cheaper than Europe!Hard to beat these days

I go bank a couple of weeks before I go pal and order whatever I'm taking in clean unripped unwritten on crispy £50 notes...exchange them no probs at all...get 3k in your wallet easy bud. No ATM charges, just make sure I've a safe in room and change daily what I need.

And you get freshly cooked perfect burgers in Thailand, speaking of personal experience! So rare to get that in the UK ie; Mc Dons 5/10, B. King 7/10, KFC 7.5/10. I expect 9 & above, for what you pay for!

Beer and food in the UK 🇬🇧 is hands down cheaper out the supermarkets than in Thailand 🇹🇭 that's why buying street food and beer from the street stalls and barrs is so much cheaper than the UK 🇬🇧

you need to get the KAMAGRA oral jelly cheap in thailand

I paid £18 for a whopper meal in Bangkok Airport before haha. But.... I must say this about Thailand. Burger king and mcdonalds are better looking and tasting burgers than anywhere else I've had them by miles. You can't beat prime burger though. I highly recommend the London burger.

Got to share you a funny story Sean mate (you saying that burger was a rip off, And i agree ) Me and my mates Holidaying on Corfu back in 1987 ,Pi** as handcarts staggering into a Mcdonads hut (in fear of copyright ha )Guy says to my brother ''You want onion ?''..Yes ..He only slapped a full onion in bigger than the burger 🤦‍♂Mate iv'e never seen so many blokes crying with laughter .20 Drachma well spent ..We still laugh about it now 🤣I got 39 Bhat to the £ just before covid .In Thailand on the Soi's 🤦‍♂Still had a great time 😁Thanks for your time once again 🍻

Boots is always expensive, Superdrug much cheaper, toothpaste in supermarkets half the price!

ya got me confused, here it's just over 28 grams to equal one OUNCE and that steak looks more like a 14 ouncer if anything. Actually I'd guess close to 2.

Sean maybe you start shaving with a double edge safety razor, the blades are cheap when bought in bulk of 100, a palmolive soap stick for shaving will last you a long time...when using it with a boar or synthetic shaving brush...and it is more fun than using a cartridge razor. Lot of tutorials here on youtube.

I will never eat another Burger King again when the burger made me feel sick the few times in my life I’ve had one, absolute junk food imo! Looking at a review of Burger King in Pattaya it costs $13 and in the States the review says it costs him around $8/$9 for the same Burger fries and coke 😮
