@thedeadhorse haha that was in London. With my DJI camera you can add a wide angle lense it attaches like a magnet and as soon as the train pulled off I fell over and the lense went walkies haha. Cheers Sean, can't wait to try a pakka pow, can't go wrong for a quid can you

They have it covered with those crazy prices for Burger King, likely same at Maccas and KFC plus whatever other franchise going over there. It is probably amazing how many tourists go all the way to a foreign country to eat junk food as they would back home. 50 baht Pad Kaprow for me every day of the week. 100% my favourite Thai meal. A whopper in Australia is $6.90 279 baht converts to $12.30 I don’t eat that stuff anyway but I had no idea it’s so expensive there

nice to see my old "hoods at soi 8, i stayed at Crown hotel -89 the first time, me & mates stayed at the cheap top floor with fan rooms, that soi has changed a bit but one of the mc taxi guys "paak soi" is still there to this day

Stay in the same hotel as you when im in Bangkok always lets me have it for 900 baht..Like you say good location near everywhere but still nice and quiet

Clean you teeth yourself with Bi Carbonate of Soda--Baking Powder! Just brush it on like toothpaste!! Works well!

Pretty sure that super rich money exchange booths will give you the best rate, they were in Jan/Feb anyway 😊.

That's BS . It had high levels of amphetamines when produced in Thailand. Sold in small brown bottles as an 'energy drink' --to keep people awake! Dangerous to become used to doing this stuff! Current Red Bull has been 'toned down' considerably! @@stephentyas4698

@stephentyas4698 it was a myth when it first came out because no one knew what taurine was. It's an amino acid that blocks suppresses the neurotransmitter receptors, which can help cause a calming affect. I didn't Google that, honest 😉

What you call soi 6 is actually soi 8. (soi 6 runs from soi 4 to your hotel with a dogleg down to Suk about 2/3 of the way down.)

I got a return flight with Etihad £920 booked about a month ago for 23rd August. It's now double the price.

Often have ham and cheese toastie, follow with a coffee, excellent.
