Jessi. Imagine a Korean Nicki Minaj. Except I like Jessi better! She’s from Queens NY I think, moved to S Korea for music when she was 15 or so, but has the NY rap attitude. Love her. She did a turn on ‘Killing Voice’ where she did short clips from about 8 of her songs. There is also ‘Killing Verse’ where S Korean rappers do the same thing.

Thanks for your reaction. Stray Kids is a very talented 8 member, self producing group. They debuted in 2018, so they’ve been around for some time now. Their latest album, 5 Star, is their 3rd consecutive #1 on Billboard 200 and is perhaps, dare I say it, their best one yet. Unbelievably they just seem to get better. I hope you try reacting to more of their music, you won’t regret it.

As rap fans i think you will enjoy this group thoroughly. They write, compose and produce all their own music. Their producing unit called 3racha (Bang Chan [Leader], Changbin, & Han) used to be a hip hop trio before Bang chan the leader picked all the members and debuted together as Stary Kids. Therefore they are heavily influenced by hip hop, rock, edm and their music is heavy on rap. They have music in a variety of genres but as rap fans I would recommend some other music videos - District 9 (debut song), God's Menu, Easy, Double Knot, Thunderous and the bonus one with no music video but a great song - 3racha ( performed by the producing unit of the same name) which uses a UK Drill beat. If you decide to further explore this group I am sure plenty of other fans will provide recommendations.

thank you so much for reacting to stray kids!! they have been a group sonce 2017, but officially debuted in 2018. currently, they are probably one of the top 3 most popular active kpop groups in the world at the moment and have been consistently growing more and more every release they put out. they write and produce ALL of their music which is incredibly rare in kpop. the meaning of this song is pretty much exactly what you guys interpreted it as, in 2020 they released “gods menu,” which was their breakthrough song. with that song they found their very own sound and have continued with it throughout the years. they’ve faced lots of backlash for their odd sound but they embrace that and this song is declaring that their music will stay weird and unique. the album this song comes from is incredible and its entire message is that they are not going anywhere, they are growing and growing and wont stop growing for a long time. thank you again so much for reacting to them, please continue looking into them i assure you they will not disappoint. because you guys are rap fans, id like to recommend some songs by them that you may enjoy: “3racha” by 3racha (3racha is the producing unit of the group, and this song has UK drill elements), “muddy water” (has a similar vibe to the boom-bap section of this song), “maze of memories” (has all 8 members rapping, even the vocalists!) and lastly, “topline” and “item” from their newest album 5-star.

Thanks for reacting! Stray Kids has kind of been following a theme of self-discovery since they debuted, so a lot of their earlier songs have a vibe of 'who am I' which slowly turned into 'this is me' as they gained experience. I recommend listening to the rest of the album too if you guys are interested. My favourites are Hall of Fame and ITEM, though it really does depend on the day. Anyway, thanks!

Love the reaction you take the time to read the lyrics and try to understand the meaning. I will love to see more reactions to Stray Kids. They produce write and compose their music themselves, there is a sub unit 3RACHA who are in charge of the producing and composing even arrange their music. I think you will love Muddy Water, Maze of Memories, 3RACHA, and so much more songs.

One of my favorite songs of SKZ is "3racha" by their sub-unit 3racha, you should give it a listen. 😌

I'd suggest you both listen to one of their songs titled: "3Racha"! I think you guys might like it! :D 3Racha was sung by the 3 main producers of the group (Stray Kids is a self produced K-group) - Bang Chan, Changbin, and Han and that track was named by their own trio name "3Racha". That track was meant for the haters that dislike the producing team, then again speaking their pride.

in order to understand the whole mv’s from stray kids there is a really long lore made by fans theories, although skz haven’t released the actual lore

@@RideAndRhyme Yeah i love how it humanizes them. They love playing video games too, Felix especially liked League of Legends, Genshin Impact, Call of Duty and Apex Legends. I know Seungmin and I.N play too but im not sure which. I’ve seen I.N and Hyunjin play Among Us though 😂

A lot of stray kids stuff is very experimental and they are highly praised for practically inventing or at least dominating their own music genre/sound “mala taste genre”. While they have gotten a lot of backlash in past years for having very “noisy” or “busy” music the kids have owned it and risen higher than ever by doubling down and creating their own niche audience and sound that is just very distinct. It takes a second to get used to them, their earlier music might be a nice place to start to see their journey and growth.
