U.K was my first Rock n Roll Show that i saw live in Puerto Rico back in 1979 this lineup. No Words can describe that experience changed my life forever. The Next year My Mom¡ 🙏🙏😪😪 bought me my first electric guitar and i learned to play to this day thanks to that Spiritual Experience ihad that Night. Bozzio shined with his Slingerland drums John in the Center of the Stage i mean ¡ Eddie Jobson stage left with his keyboards playing one on one side and the other side as well and the electric violins i mean¡ My first Show still have the ticket¡🙏🙏 God Bless John¡

This track paved the way to Asia's musical style and songwriting. UK were the right band in the wrong time, even a commercial single like this was largely unnoticed. A short life, a couple of great line ups and three fantastic albums.

Note on 0:47 about Eddie Jobson keyboard arrangement . Think, the CS-80, the Electric Grand, the Hammond organ. All of them cumbersome, and heavy as tanks. So, roadies probably hated EJ when moving his equipment. They pulled a serious prank on him the last date on their tour with Jethro Tull. Since EJ played "like Emerson", i e with front facing audience and one keyboard (or stack of keyboard to the right) and the CP-70, and CS-80 at stage left, he played in that position most of the time. Now, each night it had to be exact distance between left and right keyboard stacks and they couldn't be moved the slightest inch either way, while the show was on. No casters on anything! Now on the last night they expanded the distance so EJ had to struggle with the stretches. Ian (Anderson) said "and he's stretched ever since". EJ got furiously mad, as he couldn't pull or drag the keyboards towards him.

The finest bubblegum. I wish the radio market in the US appreciated UK, or at least given them a chance. Not much King Crimson, Frank Zappa, Roxy Music, was played in middle-sized markets. College radio stations would occasionally play a song or two. You had to know when to listen. For me, it was 6:30 a.m. (ugh).

@tomnook111 Well, this clip was intended to be a TV promo, yeah? If so, I don't believe stereo sound came to television until the 80's, so maybe it was mixed to mono originally on film from the album, rather than build a mono from scratch. Not like it makes the song or band any less awesome. :P

Not that I don't think Terry is one of the best pounders in the business; Just that Bill's style fit the nucleus better on the first exploration.

Rare shows in 1986. I think MP only had a few on the west coast. I was ready to buy tickets for any east coast show that never materialized. Was not aware of the internal bad issues & the fact they owed 700K to capital for over production costs on Color in your life. Not sure why they gambled again go with a dance type of record with BE, why not go get Ken Scott who made there only hit record, Sping Session M & go back to basics.

Everything? They just lost a great guitarist. They replaced one great drummer with another great drummer. They didn't lose the lead singer and lyricist. And they didn't lose the composer of 95% of the music (Jobson) --- surely the UK music is the most important ingredient.
