I’m so impressed with my JDM EP3 Type R, what an awesome machine. I’ve owned an EK9 type R, and a DC5 Type R. The EP3 is more fun and rowdy than the other ones. It’s definitely my favourite.

Whats the insurance like on a JDM EP3? And what security would you recommend for such a car? Finally, would this car be suitable as a ‘daily driver’, say to drive to work every day?

Insurance is a tricky topic as it varies for each individual, all I can say is the JDM EP3 is an import so insurance is inflated compared to a UK version; not sure why but ultimately it's just another reason for insurance companies to sting the consumer! For security, a well known immobiliser is more than enough, just comes down to how big are your pockets. Lastly, the JDM is great for daily driving; a practical car indeed although I'd suggest getting a UK EP3 if you're using a daily driver for reason that you can pick up UK EP3s for £2k in comparison to £8-9k for a good JDM version! K20a engine built in Japan sent over to the uk to be fitted in the car to be then shipped back to japan then to be imported back to the uk 😂😂😂

Plenty of stuff for 2020 including power, exterior and lots more, although all depending on how much real life gets in the way 👀 🙈 ... I doubt Aaron will do too much to his JDM but he will be sharing content for sure, head over to his channel 👍🏼

That jdm version has prefacelift wing mirrors rather than uk mirrors with indicators, the jdm version should also have carbon sill kick plates. With regards to jdm colours they were offered in Milano red and nighthawk black. One of the employees of j’s racing owned a Milano red jdm and used it as a demo for the company. There are a few other differences bore won’t people too much 😂

Automotive Diversity JDM EP3's don't all have carbon sill plates. Just like they don't all have yellow fog lights.

Just paid a deposit on a JDM facelift, Im honestly so excited.

The difference with the interior with my facelift jdm ep3 that I also bought from Torque GT compared to my ukdm Ep3 is the rear seats me jdm doesn’t have head rests and the base part is a completely different shape and me jdm is the same as all the other jdm’s that I’ve looked at 👍👍😃

I know Darren, I should have done... The fact you have mentioned it, I will add it to my 'Video To Do' list as the EP3 has been neglected on the channel 😭

I guess I should consider myself lucky. I got my hands on a JDM Type R wing that's championship white, which I had no idea was a color only offered in the Japanese market. My USDM EP3 Si's bouta be one of the best spec'd out there >:)

146mph UK EP3 and 152mph JDM EP3, the JDM EP3 uses different gear ratios compared to the UK spec ... Thanks for watching Marco!

They are fully functional front splitters made by 'Up A Click' you can find them to purchase on Tegiwas website or from them directly 👍🏼 If your EP3 is a road car, watch out for speed humps 😂 Thanks for watching and subscribing mate!

Never been a fan of the pre-facelift, as some advice personally I wouldn't spend the extra ludicrous amounts of money on a JDM over a UK version; save yourself some money 👍🏼

Depends on your age, but I don't think insurance companies would be happy to insure you on a EP3; to put into context my first car was Peugeot 106 🤣
