Hey yes you can, I personally don't use braid on beach rods, unless I am fishing deep water or on a boat.

Hi Wayne Just got into sea fishing, so find your videos really useful. Just out of interest, where is it your are fishing? my grandfather likes to come, but has to use a mobility scooter, so this would be perfect.
