How close to the bottom so you set float depth to?

Hi thanks for the question, we normally look at setting the float 1 to 2 ft of the bottom. Takes a few drifts to set everything up correctly but it’s well worth it. Good luck and tight lines

Hi we got our catfish floats from Poingdestres Angling Centre in Southampton. They are currently out of stock but will be available soon. Give them a call and ask to speak to Paul very helpful team. Hope this helps
