This song has only been performed 5 times in concert. At the time of this performance, Su felt that while she could technically perform the song, she feels she wasn't able to properly convey the emotions, and they retired the song for a couple years. It was finally on the second album when Su felt she could do it justice. I think it's a beautiful song whenever she sings it The Legend S version is the best in concert version.

While this performance was nice, it can't hold up to the performances at Tokyo Dome in 2016 or at the Hiroshima Green Arena in 2017. Especially the latter one had no backtrack for piano and strings but real instruments were played on stage. No you wrong, the performance is still the same as good. The only difference was that Su's voice became more mature.

Hi Leech, good reaction! This is an amazing solo by Su, however even she says she couldn't really sing it properly until she'd matured a little. I'd check out her performance of this song at Legend S, her 20th birthday show. Up until the 'Legend S - Baptism XX' concerts in December 2017, Leda had been on stage for every live performance of this song. We used to say "No Leda, No Rain, No Rainbow." : ) This one is still pretty rare. Even though it debuted in 2013, it's only been performed five times. The last line, "An endless rain fills my heart, forever." is a reference to the X Japan song, 'Endless Rain'. I've lost track of how many times I've watched this performance, but Su surpassed it at Tokyo Dome. And then she surpassed THAT at the two 'Legend S' concerts for her 20th birthday in her home prefecture of Hiroshima.

They were epic shows. Just to be clear though, this performance of 'No Rain, No Rainbow' was at Budokan in March 2014. Tokyo Dome was in September of 2016.

Good reaction Leech. This is, at least in part, a tribute to X Japan's 'Endless Rain'. Su had been singing this song for a while by this stage, but she still wasn't happy she was conveying the full emotion so the song was not included on the 2014 album. It was only after Su had seen audience members crying while she was singing the song that she realised she really could effect people emotionally - 'No Rain, No Rainbow' was included on the 2016 album. I agree with what others have already said that you should watch the 2017 Legend S performance in Hiroshima to see what Su can really do with this song - and I think I read somewhere that she was thinking of or dedicated it to the victims of the Hiroshima nuclear bomb, something very personal to her and very close to her heart.

The legend s version should grab your soul the second part when she sings with just the piano it looked like she was about to break in tears bought a tear to my eyes even though I didn’t know what she was singing I felt it

just imagine how awesome it feels when BM finally being on stage with X-Japan & they medley "Akatsuki with Kurenai" & "No Rain No Rainbow" with "Endless Rain" as the closing song,... to see Su-Metal duet with Toshi & Yoshiki on Piano plays Endless Rain is the perfect way to end the show,..

Those eyes at 5:30 (in your video) are killing me! When I read the "uhhh" in the title I was expecting the worst, but I'm glad it turned out you liked it. Please check out the version form "Legend S" as well. That was in Decembre 2017, so Su had grown and was really able to put her emotion into it. But at the time Su said she wasn't ready to sing this song the way it would have to be sung. So they postponed it until the second album. Stories like this one make me admire her even more.

Because you have not followed Babymetal since the beginning so you can say that. Both of them are good, indeed at Hiroshima Green Arena, Su's voice is more mature. But Budokan has very deep memories, even I was in the concert. There's nothing wrong if new fans see the old version before the new one, it's good to know how they grow.

Just the concept of this song repeatedly breaks my heart. It doesn't even matter that it is so beautifully put together and so beautifully sung and played. But it certainly is that too.

Just managed to get a copy of the Fox Five Festivals they did in 2018 but got blocked when I tried to put a couple of the songs from the 5 DVD set on KZread, sadly. Almost impossible to find anything from these amazing, recent concerts on KZread. So disappointed I can't share the joy with other BABYMETAL fans. Still, as the set has a £499.00 price tag, I guess they prefer fans to pay for the music. I would offer to send a copy to fans via Google Drive but fans would have to message me on here with an email address and it's probably illegal or something so I'd better not.

@@LeechTMReacts Not sure, but, as an unbiased spectator here, I just stopped the video half way through, so I do not know the reaction he is talking about, but, that being said, I think the title you gave to this KZread video gives a clue: "uhhh - Babymetal (...)" When I saw that, I thought, either (1) he didn't understand what he was watching ("uhhh" feels negative and under-whelmed) or (2) he is really bad at writing onomatopoeia... (Edit, after finishing the video): It was (2)... lol... but maybe some people felt (1) and didn't shake off that feeling at the end... I also don't know what @laughing_buddha meant...
