UH-34 Choctaw - Trex 500 mechanics - maiden (for me at least)

Ғылым және технология

This little bird was built and beautifully done by Mike Roznick, whom I met at the Scale Fly in in Dalton this month. He had a collection of flawless PKM fuselages done with T-Rex 500 mechs that seemed to have found the perfect niche for older T-Rex's 500's sitting in all of our collective portfolios gathering dust.
Despite the size, his attention to detail (including left hand rotation on the 4 blade head and a 4-blade tail) is superb. He was kind enough to part with this after my trying for 2 days to convince him to let it go.
Again, a windy day to test fly it combined with it weighing about as much as a Kraken 580 12S (no avoiding that due to needing nose weight) may not have done it justice in the air, but it drew a lot of attention!
