FMS F-86 Sabre EDF RC Jet - modifications

Modifications to FMS F-86 EDF:
- Replaced ESC with Avian 100A ESC to get thrust reverse (total PITA - very little room to install)
- Disconnected nose gear door from FMS sequencer and used the Sequencer option on my ix-20se. Worked great after burning out the cheap nose door servo on the first try :(. Replaced with a Hitec 65MG I had laying around).
- Used The RC Geeks braided fishing line concept to create a pulley system so that main gear doors closed when gear was down. Modified the idea to make the wings disconnect-able by using a jewelry lobster clasp ($6 from Amazon for 3).

Well done. Saw RC Geek do this too. But like the way you can disconnect the pull string. You should post where you got the clasp.

Thanks for the post👍🏽. I like the nuances of your mod. Be careful I pulled my gear out on rough grass. They glued right back in but it’s something to be aware of. I guess they’re not monster trucks 🤷🏻♂️

Your method doesn't close the doors all the way shut. Probably need to make string tighter
